IG @DIESELSYNDICATE So for those of you that are new this channel will mainly focus on my 12 valve Cummins project and other diesel truck shenanigans on powerstroke and duramax rigs. I've loved diesel trucks since I discovered my passion back in my junior year of high school and since then worked until i finally got my cummins baby!! Stay tuned for the cleanest diesel trucks. Thanks for the video. The music in the background is so hardcore lol
Horrible music. Better off without it.
The sensor comes out easier if you twist before trying to pry it out.
The whistle comes from the turbine wheel in the rear of the turbo.
NEVER EVER electric! I will give up driving for good and get myself personally castrated before I would even consider electric.
Electric of course
Diesel blow the tesla up
⚡️ for everyday Diesel if you actually use it for work otherwise pointless to drive to mall and grocery store
Diesel all day.
Diesel. Diesel all the way
Anyway did it work OK? Is it leaking at all or any other problems
I did my truck and when I put everything back it wasn't exactly the same I didn't want to force it back to where it was maybe is ok
No issues or leaks. As long as back lash feels the same I wouldn't worry to much
Another reason why men never get to see their grandchildren 😂😂😂
Always been good for it, never used hard No lowballers, I know what i got
It's a beautiful beast! 😮
Nice video..short & simple. In my case (98 12V 2500) the whole bolt assy came out as one, IE the bolt came out of the pumpkin instead of the nuts breaking free. I would add a step to what you outlined for cleaning the top of the pumpkin prior to removing the sensor so all that road crud doesn't fall inside. I used a 6" wire brush to break free all the road grime and some air (canned or compressor) prior to removing the sensor. Especially important since I just flushed all of the old oil and just put new oil in.
Says a Detroit diesel is junk. While driving a pos ford diesel.. nice clickbait chump.
Good job kid!
What's the part number brother?
I dont know but I got it on genos garage
Thanks helped me
How long would you say it takes from start to finish?
Thank you for the blaring music. I love watching videos on mute.
Hey Just came across your work. How did it work out ? Good to go ? You still have truck ? Excellent video tutorial
Has not leaked and yes still have the truck
Nikal barwe
Music Sucks
All Dodge ram always leaks
I dare you to go down a dusty road , or a decent river crossing.
Are you Shure that's a genuine Holset turbo, the reason I said so is because Holset turbos whistle very loud even during idle
I believe so. It has the serial numbers. It does whistle decently. I expected 6.0 whistle tho
Did you show how to undo the clips.......NO
It's simple, but a pain in the ass because it's a tight space
Why is the reason for replacing?
use a puller not a rubber mallet to get the pinion off so you don"t cause yourself other issues. the little thingy, thing amagiggy is a called a reddi or speedi sleeve.
Love it! I have an 02 f350 lariat 7.3 im building cause I got my dream truck!
Best video I've seen on seal. Great job
Anyone know if this also works on 1995 dodge Cummins?
It's almost completely identical
nope 12v cummins have a different connector you can use the later model sender unit from a 24v but you have to change the connector over and grind off part of the plug for it to work since the 12v part is no longer made
Mine started doing that and every the rpms jump while I’m driving.
Please label the title "How NOT to make your turbo whistle more"
Why? It works. I’ve done it every time never had a problem
Really clean truck, is it 2wd?
Yea. Axle swapped with Dana just needs transfer case.
2001 Dodge Ram 3500 2nd Gen Manual transmission does not run has fuel pump issue asking $4500
I had my abs and break light come on after doing burnouts lol think this is it or would it be something actually wrong
They work fine 99% of the time act like they have air in the lines maybe 1 time in 1k miles and it does leak fluid somewhere just a lil
Good idea to take a part off that was sealed from dodge engineering to make a louder sound🙄
These are loud and annoying
What's loud and annoying?
Also does that sending unit make any noise while operating or is it quiet in other words with the truck on or the key turn can you lay under the truck and hear the sending unit pumping fuel?
I've never heard mine pump
Does that sending unit have a pump built in it also ? Or is it just fuel level and vent? Thanks
Fuel level and vent. The lift pump rides on a cam lobe mounted on the left side of the engine by the starter. Assuming it's a 12 valve.
👏🏽 Great Video! Much appreciated, very useful!
All you accomplished there, was to remove what greatly helps to smoothly direct the incoming air flow into the compressor wheel. I sure hope you put it back.
