  Nice video! Entertaining. And helpful to see application of different rules. Thanks for sharing. PS believe leader casualty roll - a 1-3 (not 1) and leader is killed if 1) full unit killed or 2 ) reduced unit suffers casualty (or X result) that eliminates the unit? The 1 to kill on leader casualty roll applies only when full unit suffers casualty and is reduced ?

  Nice report. Some pointers for next time: Your knights were on the wrong base size. A regiment of knights should be 5 wide 2 deep so 125mm x 50mm. The Pegasus knights need to be on a 150mm x 50mm base. Boomers can only use a single type of shooting attack a turn, so the fireball is useless on them as their standard shooting is better than fireball. Hindered units hit at -1TC and -1 to hit. So the chariots should be a little less deadly. Also, you lose all TC if thay unit takes damage in combat the previous turn. If you take damage in combat the wizard can't cast spells the next turn. Looking forward to future reports.

  At the 12:00 minute mark you stated the odds were 1 to 3. Actually they were 1 To 1. That would have changed the battle outcome. At 1 to 1, hits for the attacker would not be adjusted.

  The game is very beautiful, but the rules are not clearly written. I am referring above all to the LOS. The examples given in the regulation are contradictory, it is necessary to write them more precisely and recompile the LOS table. It is absolutely necessary to make an "errata corrige". Even here in the video not everything is consistent with the written rules.

  You can tweak the rules involving movement, speed, etc. I've done that before with other games so it should be fine.

  Great looking armies, once those Ogres are done they will look fantastic! Kings of War is such a good ruleset and your opponent was really rolling well! What can you do in the face of such strategic use of luck??? Great video, looking forward to more! Oh and to get more views, put the armies in the title, since people are often searching for "Ogres" and "Kingdoms of Men" and could even sneak in "Bretonnia" if you want even more, haha.

  1:48 you mean 8 points of hostiles. You are doing Hard Slog mission, "add +2 to enemies hostiles for each location and the objective card." 2:18 Ambushers get placed in rearmost, meaning in the starting card. You need to spend 2 XPs as you are playing the Elites, or all of your soldiers will be suppressed. 5:48 If you use those cards like Move Out that has [other soldier] the brackets means you need to up-gun the card with by spending an XP.

  Great review! The only that puzzles me is that you said one could play the basic game in 30 minutes, but core rule book is 60 pages long. I’d say that it would take few hours to digest it.

  Good explanation and very helpful. This game has a lot of appeal, but I find the rules poorly written/organized. Spent way too much time parsing them to the point where I could play somewhat smoothly. Found the same mix of appealing and annoying with the company's Rifles in the Pacific.
