"CLANNAD" is an Irish and Celtic cultural treasury.....and the music Guide in traditional and World music for already 5 decades; God bless you all and .....thank you for the huge impact you had and still have on entire World music scene that you have revolutionised, creating a comletaly new genre: - CELTIC & New Age music... and thanks for the influence you had on so many musucians in Ireland, Scotland and all over the world !!!

I totally agree with you regarding this theme Of Harry's Song ! When I think of the context of it, the troubles in Ireland, Palistine, Ukraine, Venezuela, and everywhere when Children of God are being destroyed by Evil, I don't care what your Nationality, your color, your Religion, we have got to realize, wherever you are, we share the same blood, the same Hopes 😢, let us come together and fight against evil without despair, with he Hope we can give our children and grandchildren, and their children something we have never known, Peace on Earth Good will towards Men/Women/ and children everywhere from The Ukraine to the ends of the Earth: God help us to do better. Another sri lankan here. Born 1982. The music around 7.00 is absolute heaven. No other Robinhood story appealed to us more.

Nice. Early 80s Michael, as opposed to mid-80s slash medieval Michael in Robin. He looks good in both, there was just something about him and that mullet.. You can see his talent here, too, even though he doesn't have many lines. Very expressive face.

I was fascinated by this mini-series after hearing the theme by Clannad so many years ago. I wondered what the meaning of the title was "Harry's Game", but as the story progressed, it became apparent that it revolved around a cat-and-mouse game between Harry Brown and Billy Downes, each trying to hunt down the other. As the ending here goes, it ends on the tragic note that both men were killed, and the lesson that violence begets violence. For the Troubles of Northern Ireland, it was a never-ending conflict of such violence, and the only way to end it was the Good Friday Agreement in the desire for peace. Still, it's a very depressing story that demonstrates how violence will keep going if both sides seek it...

Ive been rewatching the Robin of Sherwood series. Started watching in the 80s and fell in love with it. Jason Connery is so handsome. And Judi Trott as Marion was the most beautiful Marion they could have picked. Also Nicholas Grace as the sheriff is superb. Love to all in the series

Robin of Sherwood was first shown in the UK on my actual 12th birthday, and I've been a fan of the series since the moment it started. As most girls that age, I fell head over heels, not with Robin, although I thought he was cute, but with Will Scarlet! And I've been a big fan of Ray Winstone ever since! I was always watching my VHS tapes of the series and listening to the album Legend. To the point that my dad banned me from playing it more than once a day when he was in the house! In an effort to not scratch my vinyl LP, I had managed to get all of 1 and 2 on to side A of a C60 cassette tape, and the same on side B too, with milliseconds before and after the music. While I was in my room, and I wanted some nice relaxing background music while I was reading, I would stick in my cassette, hit play, and half an hour later, flip the tape. That wasn't too bad, it's just when I flipped it again, that's when the threats of it being broken, if it was put on one more time. I basically killed Clannad for my dad, as far as RoS music was concerned, but he did like some of their other music, but he never realised it was Clannad! And yet, despite his aversion to Clannad, thank to my over playing it, he actually got me a three disk CD album for my birthday, with the instructions to only play it at my place! Lol. To this day, Clannad, and their family member Enya, still play a large roll in my musical taste. And as for RoS, I've passed that love down to my daughter!
