This KZread channel started with a dare from my wife when we were buying stuff for our work from home workstations. I already had an Anne Pro 2 but I wanted to buy another keyboard. So, my wife (after watching a TV show featuring successful KZreadrs and seeing how much money they make) said that she'll give me USD 400 to spend on anything I want, no questions asked, as long as I make KZread videos on it. The following day I bought two keyboards, two mice and two deskmats and that started this channel. You can still see the bad unboxing videos I did on those :).
On a personal note, me and my wife are full-time accountants. We love travelling and I always take travel videos during our trips and that is what trained me to be decent in capturing and editing videos. The camera that I used on our trips is what I use to shoot these videos.
I play a lot of Destiny and Dredgen is the the first title that I got there. My IGN is actually in the logo though it is a bit tricky to decipher. :)

can i know what is the keyboard that you use
Why is mine doesnt have the sticker
I can't find the keyboard. where did you order it from and do you have a link? also what's the layout of the keyboard you unboxed? :) Thanks for any help
This was very helpful, thank you for making this video!
personally i didnt use any foam and did the forcebreak mod instead and it seemed to get rid of a lot of the "hollowness" while retaining the sound signature of the board which atleast for me is amazing, also i top mounted it which i ended up liking more than the o ring mount
Imma try this with my stock lubed gateron yellows just to see if I can make it a bit more quiet
Mousepad under the keyboard makes for 80% of the sound difference.
Fun fact: split rshift + standard ANSI bottom row gives you a more symmetrical arrow cluster if you want to go the mod-/layer-tap route for arrows (don't ask me how I know)
I am not at home and I am trying to visulize this, I'll check when I get a hold of the keyboard!
hold capslock fn + wasd still the goat of arrow keys
I've got two built 3.0s. First one is long poles on gaskets with stock plate. Sound amazing to me, and I actually like the soft typing feel from that plate. Second is built with the pc plate but top mounted (with socks) - this results in a just typing feels similar to the first build. In terms of sound, I actually find the top mount with pc plate to be pretty good, I would say it's fairly resonant but still crisp. I wouldn't say it's hollow at all. I do want to try a pp plate in top mount, and also try the washer mod for top mount.
Late in the party maybe but 7v or tomo?
Haven't used the 7V so I can't comment. If it helps, I have sold a lot of my boards in rotation but I still have my tomo. I really like it.
Longshot here -- trade to Ocean Colorway?
does it hold up?
bro, insanely in depth video. such high quality. Subbed. you are the fucking man what is the cord and charger you are using? what kind of cable? it looks SO CLEAN in your setup
how do you use arrow functions?
My dude's Tagalog accent is oozing.
What's that handheld, if you don't mind me asking that you're typing on near the later end of the video?
Ayaneo 2 :)
May rgb ba to?
hello, how to do the oring with screw in like you with staebies? I have durock V2 and the oring does not go down to the stabz level
Sound Doesn't Even Fuckin' Matter, Mate! All That Matters Is If It's Comfortable To Use Or Not! The Joke Is Actually True!
was it resell amount or is it retail
With this pcb is there a key to change under glow rgb and another to change the key rgb? I’m new to customs and am interested in this pcb but can’t find too many answers online about it

Did you find out?
From this: *Keyboard on wood with mic far away* To this: *Keyboard on a mat with mic right next to it.*
right mod cluster arrow keys via tapdance layers is my favorite layout for all of my 60% tsangan layout boards as well. Just makes so much sense. Shame most people don't know about it. For those curious, this is how I do it: Special tab -> 'Any' key in VIA, then input these codes: (change MOD_** key to your liking) MT(MOD_RSFT,KC_UP) MT(MOD_RALT,KC_DOWN) MT(MOD_LGUI,KC_LEFT) MT(MOD_RCTL,KC_RGHT)
Yeah I wanted more people to use it that's why I made a portion for it. A lot of people stay away from 60% because of the arrow keys so I wanted to show it.
im letting you guys know dont listen to the guys that say flex is good its not its horribnle for gaming and feels cheap also your leds wont line up anymore the gaps betwenn keys feel diffenrtt
got this keyboard last week, it's my favorite of the year
More than the neo or cycle? 👀
Hello!, both the Description and the video itself say the caps are "GMK Samurai", but, aren't these "GMK Striker"?
Oh good catch I missed that! I'll change the description. Thanks!
Been looking sporadically for a custom alu plate in the Matrix discord, but can't seem to find one. Is that where you found yours?
Nope, we have local hobby shops that custom cut plates. This one came hobquad.
How thick is the PCB? :D
1.2 mm :) You need to use stab shims imo.
The answer is literally in the video. 🙄
thanks! sorry I must've missed that detail@@TheDredgenProject
Hey wondering your thoughts on this board vs. the GrayStudio BD60! Thanks in advance!
Thr BD60 sounds and feels better to type on, in my opinion. However the tempo really has a unique look and is a bit heavier so it feels more premium. It will be up to you to decide which you prefer more. I would personally go BD60 but that is a slim edge over the tempo since I personally like the look fo the tempo more.
@@TheDredgenProject thank you! I had the same guess but it’s great to hear your insights since you tried both. I really like the look of the Tempo, but also have a lot of trust in GrayStudio’s work. It’s a hard choice.
@@crybabyteamo Yeah it's a hard one. It will come.d down to how much your prioritize sound/feel and how you feel about the designs.
@@TheDredgenProject Ended up getting the BD60 WKL FR4!
@@crybabyteamo great choice :) enjoy your build !!
Honestly, this sounds pretty decent. Nice.
Yow. What's the name of the song in 00:26. Sounds like a bop.
Pwedeng Ayusin Natin To by Because. He samples a song from Alisson Shore named Halaga on that track :)
Searched the internet like mad man, couldn't find any more infos, can you share some?

After months of thinking, I finally bought one excited to add this board on my collection
you won't regret it. I entered the GB early for mine and was skeptical when i heard the first wave of early soundtests come out buttt its now one of my favourite boards i've ever built
I still have mine. It's beautiful. Not the best sounding imo but that back is so gorgeous.
Looks great
I have multiple 8xvs and after trying many configs I've realized this board really shines with higher pitched long poles switches w/ gasket mount. Sounds fantastic build that way. IMO mx blacks just won't cut it for this board.
whats ur fav config rn? plate, switches, mounting.
first! pwede na pamasko Fafa Arfin!

⭐ "Promosm"
What is the Korean keycap set!?!?! I need it!!!!!
GMK red devils? sorry late reply!
Alternatively, I'd suggest doing force break mod to eliminate that hollowness and a bit of reverb coming out of the board -- this way you can also remove the foams to take advantage of the full sound produced by the switch and plate alike. This time it should sound more full. Let me know if this helps if you ever decide to play around with this suggestion! :) Great board btw!
Thanks for the suggestion! I did consider doing a force break mod but it just didn't feel right since it is quite an expensive board. (It's a weird preference thing I have, I prefer to have not that many mods on the boards I have).
Do you like the board more with the custom alu plate?
Definitely. I hated how the original plate sounded and was close to selling the board even though it looked great.
@@TheDredgenProject Gotcha. I've been considering picking one up, but am still not sure yet.
@@TrevorBronowicki it sounds really hollow on the default plate so I definitely recommend a custom one :)
I love the how you included mx blacks in your soundtest as a reference point.
Building a D60 this weekend cuz Rama hasnt shipped my Kara 😅 coping well needed this vid
Everything you said was true: "validation", "people spending more than you", etc. Would love to go to one of those, and wish there was one in US. Thanks for video
Regarding your "Catchball feels off" caption in the "Nitpicks" section, you can tighten or loosen it accordingly to your preference.
Oh I did not know that, is there a mechanism that you need to adjust? I guess I can check later :)
@@TheDredgenProject Yup, there's a big screw at each side of the catchball mechanism, you can tighten or loosen it accordingly to your preference.
ugh future funk is such a sexy set. I hope we get an R2 eventually
is this cream color?
No, this one os e-white.
If they sell to European countries it's 24 months warranty because that's the required minimum to be able to sell there.
what is the handheld in the opening shots? The one displaying MvC.
miyoo mino plus :)
no foam?
Yes zero foams :)
