What annoys me the most isn't what he's saying. It's that he's not listening to what's being said. He's only in this to keep speaking. He LOVES the sound of his own voice. His mic is louder. I'm Christian and I do believe in Creation, but Reds was 100% correct as usual. It's irrelevant who of what created everything. That is not proof of flat vs round. This bumpkin tried to make this a "ideological" debate instead of a geometric debate, which he even admitted. He does not see like a very smart guy and I thank God that the greated majority of Christians believe that the earth is round and we appreciate and love science.

I have a maybe dumb idea. Wouldn't be really really dope if we had a 10 mile long measure and tied it on fixed heights above sea level (1 meter or so maybe)? Say one on the beach and one on a boat. If the earth was flat and the measure was completely stretched then it should run parallel to the water all the way. But if it is a globe, then the measure, while completely stretched would be submerged at some point in the middle. The logistics with water currents and the sheer length of the measure are a bit difficult but it doesn't sound impossible (correct me if I am wrong). Use a couple of boats running back and forth the entire length with cameras and done! And since it is entirely physical, no perspective or refraction can skew the results. It will be a simple measurement of the geometric horizon of the globe or lack thereof on a flat earth

10Years ago, I was in Niagara On The Lake, looking toward the Toronto skyline with my 8" Celestron telescope with a 26mm eyepiece, but I could not see the Lakeshore Blwd that is over 100 feet above Lake Ontario shore????
