I was born on the 21st September of 2007, In poland. After turning 3 months old, my mom moved to belgium, away from our family due to financial problems in poland and my mom wanting the best for me.
As a kid, I always enjoyed coloring books, and drawing. I remember getting mad at my mom for coloring a page in my coloring book.
I started drawing stuff at around the age of 11, getting my first tablet at 12.
Now, the XV in my name stands for 15, the age I received my graphic tablet, and started taking art seriously.
I've been animating for nearly two years, trying to improve.

These are all nothing burger mistakes. 1: Sorry for the incest ship This series is FULL of incest ships that most try to ignore because they are canon. This ship was I believe fairly popular back in the day. It's not that big a deal when you literally have and UNCLE AND NEICE AS A CANON SHIP PEOPLE LIKE. I'm not saying incest is ok, I'm saying the barking is going up the wrong tree. 2: Sorry for using a gay song for a straight couple Who cares, literally WHO CARES! It's ONE AMV in a sea of probably more of the "appropriate dynamic" being used for the song. I understand you and others may believe "This song is for the gays" But it is just a piece of art someone felt moved enough to express. Idk I feel like the visibility of the song reaching others is worth more than one person mistakenly using a gay song for a straight ship 3: Sorry for posting a straight ship with a gay song during pride month 🤔 Correct me if I'm wrong but just because the ship is straight doesn't mean they both HAVE to be straight. If the problem is that this is "Gay erasure being posted during pride month" then I'm sorry but this is just hateful and wrong. I mean do people just like to forget Bi people exist??? It can still be pride month themed in a different way. Conclusion. I don't think you should have apologized, and if you were being harassed for these again NOTHING BURGER MISTAKES, Shame on them for doing that. I honestly agree with you. These problems seem trivial compared to other big problems. I don't interact much with the fandom, mostly just watching over the things that happen. But for what I am seeing it seems that the most common issue is taking small mistakes or unintentional choices and making them a big deal when the person didn't mean much harm. The incest ship is pretty much unavoidable when it comes to warrior cats, considering the clans basically bans any interaction of outsiders or anyone that aren't a part of them. It's difficult to make a healthy pairing without making it a forbidden romance where the other cat is from another clan or somewhere else because the clan are mostly made up of families that are biologically related to each other. For the issue of using a gay song for a straight couple sounds, it just sounds unnecessary to complain about this. Honestly. There are so many songs that are used without following its original meaning. For example I saw some people animate straight ships with the song Jenny by Studio Killers, which is supposed to be a song for lesbians. And that's absolutely okay! It doesn't mean that those people despise gay people and the choice they made aren't out of spite, it's a song that can be enjoyed by everyone and can be used in any way, as long as it doesn't put hate towards the targeted audience. The last issue just confuses me entirely.
Canonically swiftpaw and bright paw loved each other- wich is really why the Erin’s need to try better at family trees-
People seams to forget that a lot of Retcoms from warriors happened years after the books where publicated, now Swiftpaw and Brightheart are cousins, but when the books where first written they weren't because Frostfur never addressed Lionheart as her mate in the books, also Vicky at the time also never addressed the two being mates in any shape or form, nor did she address him as being Cinder, Bramble, Thorn and Bright's father.

As a queer person myself, regarding the song choice I think you're fine. People a lot of the time don't take the meaning of the song into account when making AMVs and just based off of vibes or what they directly hear. It's just how things are. And besides, in this case it was just an accident. So you're good

It’s was a handful of honest mistakes, the fact that you’re addressing them is good and I don’t think most people will blame you for said mistakes. Especially if no I’ll intent was present. And I honestly think the first one wasn’t even your fault, because I didn’t even know Swiftpaw and Brightpaw were cousins either, and there are multiple maps with the same shipping premise. Honestly with how many retcons there are, or half-baked relationships there are, trying to navigate family trees is a nightmare! 😅
Listen okay. Considering the ERINS have canonically made a couple that are first cousins, and whose daughter is a protag cat (cough Thriftear x Bayshine = Moonpaw) you are doing WAY BETTER by shipping two cousins unintentionally and APOLOGIZING for it

I think it's weird to get mad at incest ships in Warriors. Like.. These are stories about CLANS. A clan is a group of people who share a common ancestor or lineage. Thus, they are all one family. And the Code does not allow you to invite outsiders to this small group of cats(I know that this has changed in the modern arc, but we are talking about the first arc). So if you follow the rules, there is almost no way to choose a partner who is not a member of your family Most characters don't consider other cats as family unless they are their parents or siblings. Cousins or nephews and uncle(aunt) dynamics are rare in this series, almost no one see their family three further than parents and siblings So what's the point of getting mad at the SwiftxBright ship if Erins not mention them to be cousins and this characters don't consider each other as close family? About using a song about LGBT people for hetero ship.. What's wrong with that? People use songs anout hetero relationships for lgbt couples, why is it different? Isn't it amazing that one song with one lyrics inspires people to creat a different versions of the story based on this one song? PMV is great, by the way, a wonderful work of art❤
As a part of the lgbtq… is it really such a big deal when a queer song is used for a non-queer couple? Like straight songs are used for queer couples all the time! I don’t see it as a big deal, it’s a song, it’s a amazing song, but content with the song doesn’t always have to be related to the original meaning- at least that’s my opinion

The reason you didn’t realize they were cousins is because the first arc books never mentioned it. Goldenflower and Lionheart are never mentioned to be siblings, and there is no mention of Lionheart being the father of Frostfur’s kits. In the first arc they were never thought of to be related, Victoria came up with these characters entirely separately from one another. Swiftpaw and Brightheart being related was a retcon made by the prequel books. If you were to never read the super editions or novellas, you would have no idea that they were related. This is all to say, I don’t blame you, and retconning cats to be related is kinda dumb. Also my artfight in MuddyPaws >:3

Tbh i don't care that their cousins it's an easy mistake to make graystripe's parents were siblings for awhile and the erins didn't notice until the FANDOM pointed it out (atleast that's my understanding of it) imagine if the fandom wass only small graystripe's parents probably still would've been siblings 💀 I don't ship them but still I'm just saying that half of the cats of the clans are just related now 💀 Also just because brightpaw and swiftpaw are a straight relationship doesn't mean one or poth of them can't be bisexual or pansexual or even straight allies I personally loved the pmv and actually thought of a few ways that i might be able to use it for my ocs because i loved it so much i also was gonna look at the full song it was really good both pmv and the chosen song

Honestly I’ll admit when I saw the pmv on my fyp I thought it was a little strange that a song about gay relationships was used for a hetero couple, but honestly now I’m glad I kept my goddamn mouth shut because oHMYGOD can this fandom NOT make stupid drama out of nothing for TEN SECONDS And like.. half of the relationships in this series are inbred, wHY do we make a big deal about this when the books themselves do this, like yeah there should obviously be a point where we draw the line but as you said, there’s no mention of it in the books and people ages ago found no issue with the ship then so why??? So yeah tldr. You did nothing wrong and any harassment you might have faced was absolutely undeserved, thank god you aren’t a super popular creator or else people would of thrown this incredibly out of proportion, as they always do 💀
About the "Swiftpaw and Brightpaw are cousins" thing: You didn't miss anything in the first series about it due to translation, because in the original English printing of the first series _there's no mention of it._ If it's mentioned directly in any of the super editions or novellas or anything, that's a retcon. In the first arc, very few cats were actually meant to be related to each other. Unless it was directly said or mentioned in that first arc, it was not originally planned that way. Most of the things we know today about first arc cats being related to each other are because of retcons from books like Bluestar's Prophecy, or from author statements, or the Warriors website's family tree, or from something Su Suzanne said. Even Firestar and Scourge being half-brothers is a retcon. They're never mentioned as having the same father in the first arc. In fact, Firestar's dad isn't mentioned at _all_ in the first arc, and we only find out anything about Scourge's past in the Rise of Scourge graphic novel which was written way after the first arc had been completed. I don't know if Swiftpaw and Brightheart being cousins is something stated in a novella/super edition/etc, or if it's something that the fans figured out by mapping the family trees throughout the books and using various Word of God statements from the authors to fill in the blanks, but like. It isn't common knowledge, from what I can tell. I myself was today years old when I found that out, and even now I'm not sure where that was ever said. The only way to really 100% avoid shipping something that is in some way incestuous in the canon Warriors books is either to never ship Clan cats together even if they're from different Clans, or to just not ship the characters at all. The ThunderClan family tumbleweed is a mess, and since there's cats related to first arc TC cats in basically every clan except for maybe SkyClan it's only ever going to get messier. The Erins can only really fix the problem by either going "so half the stuff in the books isn't actually canon" which would be a second kind of nightmare, or by making the next arc a soft reboot that's far enough in the future that nobody is able to be assumed as direct blood relatives to anyone else just by the fact that they're both in the same Clan. Do not beat yourself up about this. A Warriors ship being some kind of incest is just about inevitable at this point unless you're shipping fan characters.

The book are AWFUL when it comes to family *cough* graystripes parents ;-; And don’t get me started on how many times I’ve seen people get kicked out of ship maps because they used a ship that they didn’t know were related! And don’t worry about the pride month posting yes some people will think it’s offensive but it was just bad timing, but we all make mistakes! I personally forgive you! Ooh darn. Well i just figured they were cousins today 😭 but erin needs to make a family tree because every warrior is related in some way at this point. The only way for them to not be related and be mates is if they broke the warrior code and had kits with an opposit clan member. You're completely fine!
There is a family tree on the official website, but the problem there is that in the past it has in fact been used to retcon in _even MORE incest_ for some reason. Iirc, the whole thing with Greystripe's parents being full siblings was from the old website family tree. They've fixed it a little after the website got revamped to what it is now by making it so that some cats don't have dads, but like. The only real way to fix the issue is to recon some cats that were retconned to be related into not being related again, and/or to do a soft reboot of the series that is far enough into the future that cats can be born in the same clan but not somehow related by blood anymore.

Not really "the whole time," but yeah he and Brightpaw both were adults by the time they snuck off to attack the dogs alone. Presumably Cloudpaw was Warrior age as well at that point since I don't recall him being made a warrior super early or anything, but like. Who even knows? The Erins certainly don't keep track.

Even the Erins don't remember some info about their characters, they wrote Heavystep's (I think it was him lol) death two times in different books, so, even their creators won't remember so many cats and their family trees! :D (And ngl, they do a lot of incest in the books themselves 😭✋) 3. You had no fault at all about the song lyrics, most songs that I used for my animations before learning English had some cussing and deep themes :'3 It is a super common mistake and everyone can get that wrong! 4. Heck i remember those warrior cats facts videos spreading the idea that "swiftpaw hopes brightheart will chose him over cloudtail in starclan" the fact people are getting mad at YOU is stupid and as several people here have stated, they didn't know they were cousins either. You're not the first person to shine a romantic light on them and no one in this fandom is going to check the family tree constantly because of how much of a dumpster fire the erins made it. When i read the first arc i was under the impression they were siblings myself for some reason but when i entered the fandom space they made it CLEAR they weren't siblings and that there was something else going on between them. First arc family trees aren't as trust worthy as other ones everyone knows the erins just put cats wherever, not your fault imo 🤷

ITS NOT UR FAULT!! when it comes to lyrics, that part of the song want very specific on what it was referencing, I didnt even pick it up. the erins reallly have to keep track of the family tree a lot better. at this point pretty much all of them are related and its pretty gross... problems aside it was a great pmv!! when it comes to timing, it makes sense that you would post something!! its what any youtuber loosing subs would do, its just a coincidence that it was in pride month and with the song you couldnt really tell what it was talking about unless u heard the full song. all of that aside, good luck from team stardust! ill definitely be attacking you >:3
