    Sitting in the drop of doom, and seeing a penny in your open palm as it floated up into the air while you dropped was always a mindf☆☆k.

    I was on the coaster a few days before the 'incident'. And for good or bad, my cousin was one of the engineers that designed the submarine ride.

    I can't help but get an eerie feeling seeing the Mindbender. Looks like there was another roller coaster, too -- what was the name of that other one?

    I want to know the exactly model of this electric ukulele

  • @keneckert
    @keneckertАй бұрын

    Hello Daniele. This is a Clearwater electric tenor ukulele, in the color shown. But a Clearwater in the UK is the same as a Vorson in the USA. They're the same brand. Best, Ken :

    This name seems familiar. Ken Eckert did you go to Ross Sheppard, Scona, Camrose Lutheran College or Concordia High School in Edmonton? I believe I remember a Ken Eckert from my past

    You do! Hello Rick. Good to hear from you. Yes, we were at Concordia together, and your parents taught me computer science classes. I remember Pat and Parke fondly. Best for now. If you're on Facebook, let me know. :

    My first port of call would be using your macro method. The trick you missed there is that any lens can focus really closely if you use macro tube extenders between the lens and the camera. Then, one could import the frames as a image sequence in davinci resolve, then use its tracking feature to line up each frame using the sprocket holes as a reference. I might try this soon.

    I notice that video tape is not much better than 8mm movie film.

  • @keneckert
    @keneckert3 ай бұрын

    I am glad you made that comment. I have always thought 8mm film was underrated-- in my scanning projects, I've gotten up to about 1280x720 resolution out of well-shot 8mm. We forget how terrible in quality VHS was in comparison. I made this original recording on 8mm videotape and sadly saved only a VHS copy; but even that 8mm video was only a little better.

    Hi Ken, I am learning to play an electric tenor solid body ukululele made by Flight. I am 72 & it is on my bucket list. You are very musically talented & versatile! 😊 And tech savvy!! What video camera do you use to record your videos, please? And, more important, what is the name of the video editor app do you use to make/compose your super-cool, multi-screen/4-screen composite videos, please? I have not ised it yet but I have Clipchamp on my Windows 11 laptop. I enjoy what you are doing very much!! Take care. 😂❤ Nick

  • @keneckert
    @keneckert3 ай бұрын

    Thank you, Nick. That is very much appreciated. I'm glad you find value in the videos. My production is pretty low-tech. I am using a good-quality webcam on the front of my monitor, and an old iPhone on the right side. I am using Da Vinci Resolve to sync the two video recordings and the mp3 file. Da Vinci is free, and it does have a bit of learning curve, but there are many KZread tutorials, and making a four-screen or multiple-screen video isn't hard. I hope you will try to use it, and if I can help in future, please do write again. Best for now.
