Love it! Camera view that attachment! It's the best! Need more videos like this! Liked, Viewed, Shared, Subscribed!
I see alot of you guys wikth thikis small equipment. Ill agree they are alot easier to work with as i have an 1845 case, when my uncle use to build pools in the 80s the smallest thing he had was a case 455c . something how times has changed. You have anything bigger?
I’m currently considering leaving the federal government after 16 years of service (a year of active duty military as well). I’m completely unfulfilled in my current position and just feeling stuck. I recently received a job outside of the federal government that sounds really good but I’m very nervous about leaving everything I’ve worked for with the federal government. Looks like reinstatement rights are good in the event that I get out and decide to return. But still, it’s a scary thing even considering such a secure job.
Anyone working for the government mafia is a parasite and an immoral ahole. The inefficiency is one thing, but the ethics of literally living off of MANY other people having half their wealth perpetually stolen to finance your UNNECESSARY job, is abhorrent, immoral and highly unethical. I don't care what your government job is, quit being a parasite living off of taxtortion loot, collected without consent from yous victims. Stop being pro slavery.
Great video and content! I love driveway work!
You need excavator and bulldozer here
That brush attachment looked like it did a great job, surprised me.
That N600 is sweet. If yer wheel Trac was trying to nose forward when lifting that fireplace, yer dad could have put it in forward gear and gave it just a little gas.
How long owner has to wait to add top soil?
I know this is an old video, but thank you for uploading your thoughts. You're right someone needs to hear this! Wish you the best of luck with everything!
What was the total distance on this driveway repair? Have one coming up with similar washout
I think it was around 300 linear feet.
Thanks from me too as I have wondered about the performance comparison. I have the Stihl combi system with blower, line trimmer, variable angle hedge trimmer, edger, pole saw, and extension, with the Km-94 power head which I prefer over the 4 mix ones myself- less power but simpler and no valve clearances to adjust and never misses a beat. I'm told the blower attachment has three fans in it which explains the solid performance. I use mine for a lot of jobs, obviously ground clean up , but also blowing off sanding dust prior to painting, blowing out gutters, blowing out my garage, and so on- a very handy tool. I recently replaced the set after ten years of domestic use on multiple properties and all were still functioning well. I'd rate the Husqvarna equivalents as superior in engineering and design but stayed with Stihl as the KM-94 is lighter and that blower is so good. I'd say the biggest weakness in the system is the connection is only locked by the clamp, there is only a plastic key to stop it from rotating and this is easily overcome, unlike the Husqi and Echo equivalents which have a proper metal pawl. Also the Stihl hedge trimmer has reduced in length, the Husqi one is longer which is more efficient. One of my most useful tool systems though- really enables a lot of work to get done in a short time.
That dirt underneath the rock what did you use 3/4 base dirt with clay content? Would appreciate any information I have soil erosion around my concrete slab foundation
I think I used a clay based soil to backfill the erosion. I don't remember using any gravel. It's been several years since I completed this project.
Nice video. I love kubota equipment. I don't have a lot of land but I've had some pretty bad erosion and flooding. Right now I'm waiting on a buddy and his mini excavator to fix my problem. I'm thinking about buying my own. How much was this unit? 50k? How has it held up? Thanks
The cheesy 80s porn music has to go
Gonna start using my 90s catalog!
@@shamrockdirtwork7945 LMAO!
Rewatched! Always enjoy this content!
How much would something like this cost? Grading half an acre?
Rewatched!
What size is your dump trailer?
14 foot 16k lbs
Did you save the painting?
How big of an area was this and how long did it take you to peel back the grass?
I think it took a couple of hours. It's been a long time since I did that job. It might have been around 30 x 50 feet.
Damn. That’s one bad ass job well done. I in south west pa if you wanna do mine 😅
Do you notice a big difference in power between the u27 and u35? With the exception of the angle blade do you think its worth the 10k extra over the u27
The U35 is a big improvement over the U27. There's more leg room and the additional power combined with the angle blade is worth the additional cost.
@@shamrockdirtwork7945thanks for the info! I’m getting a u35 delivered tomorrow
Sweet! I pretty much live in my U35. I drag it to most of my jobs. It pairs nicely with my SVL75 track loader.
This was so refreshing!!
BEGINNING AT THE LOWER CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALL STUDS Push everything in on itself everything in towards the center of the home all the way around the roof will collapse
Always check double-check to make sure the electric has been disconnected so you do not get electrocuted with the metal machinery always check to see if the water meter has been disconnected from the water or water will be splashing flying everywhere costing the building owner property more money deducted from your paycheck always Mark out the septic tank so you do not fall into the septic tank with the heavy equipment🎉❤🎉
Great videos , looks like you like kubota machines. Just purchased svl75-3 love it
I prefer Kubota. The mini excavators are smooth to operate. I'm a huge fan of the slide up door on the skidsteers.
My driveway is 700 ft long with a 200 ft drop. I've fought it for 30 years. Last fall I put $20k into concrete on it. 2 more times and I won't fight it anymore. Walking the fresh work with your excavator after the first rain will go a long way packing it down
I purchased a vibratory roller since I completed this driveway. It does an amazing job at settling the gravel in so as to minimize erosion. Thanks for the comment.
Great info, thanks! Best gloves, try their green "Cut proof" version, I wear them every day! Only brand to ever buy! Even great when they get sweaty & wet.
Love the peeling back of topsoil with the skid steer... grear video!
Has anyone quit a goverment job while under investigation with IG and then being hired same position different post?
Amen.. I just took the leap too! Good luck on your future endeavors.
It came out awesome! How much would this cost? I have a 1/4 driveway with millings but it needs regrading since we got a nasty storm that also did washout damage. How much do you think they’ll charge me to fix it?
Excellent job. Is it now possible to grout the remaining riprap
6:07 💯
What would charge for something like that? I do stump grinding in Alabama and have thought about adding a U27 to the mix.
The tribalistic management is incompetent and toxic. The good old boy club stays in power using fear of those that feel there is no other option.
Hey, Our 80 got the same tear like yours! Ours happened at the marked spot on the track where its joined together in manufacturing so we think it was a defect considering we baby the tracks to keep them in good shape... Anyways, how have the hybrid tracks treated you the last 3 years? Is there any clearance issues between the angle blade and the track, our dealer swears it will hit the track and we should stay rubber
What top coat was used to keep the crystalline silica dust from getting airborne?
gravel and sand are they can be damage?
great video to watch and learn how you deal with that amount of erosion!
Not really the best way to do it, but you got to do what the client is wanting to spend.
I agree. Lack of funds limits my ability to do jobs a certain way.
How much did all the fill dirt cost? In the process of doing this for my 77' in ground vinyl
Oh my is this guy ever a shitty waste of time operator
Rip Rap usage!
That’s a big ol’ blade on that thing. Looking forward to the vids…and seeing you haul it by the house 😂
Wow, I was just having this conversation-I think these computers are really listening. This was so on time. Thank you
I have 17 years of service and only 6 more to go until early retirement. I plan on sticking it out even though i hate my job and i feel like most of the folks here in the comment section. I plan on getting my CDL and driving the country for 5 years until i stop working at 62. God willing!
Looking good!
If you went in a few days before filling in the pool. With a small jack hammer so the water will be able to drain. Yes I know people are going to say,, you're wasting time and energy for something not necessary.
Operator is great! Smooth!
