I have to say - think twice before using the Pictory app. If you decide to pay for it, make sure you know what you are actually paying for. In my field of expertise, there are not any positives in this app whatsoever. It just merges features from different websites (voiceover, background music, AI video / picture generation) and puts them together without actually expanding any further. And the pricing is absolutely unheard of - for what it is, it is extremely overpriced. The only feature worth mentioning is the background video added to scenes. The way this feature lives to the expectations is barely questionable, as it is just too inaccurate. If you are 10 years old and want simple software, then it is perfectly fine to use this one. Though the results are going to be like what you'd expect from a 10 year old. The "Pro" AI voiceover is absolutely tragic, nowhere near the performance of ElevenLabs' AI voiceover, which is supposedly partnering with Pictory. Editing of videos is pretty much non existent, making a clearer cut (zooming on the timeline etc.) just does not exist. Your video is cut into scenes automatically. I have to give them credit here - the text is separated into scenes (parts of a video) relatively well. But then, you can not merge the scenes. You can not adjust the speed of a clip. You can not adjust the speed of a voiceover. You may add a .gif to your video for whatever reason, but you can not add basic highilght. Long story short - if you have your own background video you want to use - get away from this product. If you want to create wannabe educational or storytelling content for social media, then you may use this tool. Just make sure, if you work in a serious business, to avoid this tool at any cost. No matter how hard you try, the resulting content is limited, unprofessional, cheap looking.

You could try using Markers and cause the text to Exit from view at a certain time while your audio continues. Then have your new text Enter the screen. Take a look at the video at timestamp 8:58 for a demo on how Markers work. Hope that helps, @eyalZ-on8lc!
How do you overlay I saw it in a video
You can search for "overlay" and download a template. You may want to use the filter on the left side of the screen to choose the tool you plan to use the overlay in (After Effects, Premier Pro etc). They usually provide a file with installation instructions in the downloaded folder. Hope that helps, @puppycarsplays5560!

animations are great but what if I need stills for my diaglogues? This software has no option to download jpegs.
Good point, @agliski911! Vyond focuses on animation rather than still images. I suppose you could take screenshots and use those if you want 😊

Hi @KhoeuthFamilyVlogs! Stock video from reputable groups like Pictory, Storyblocks etc are licensed for your personal and commercial use, after you subscribe to their services. I haven't had any problems with KZread monetization in videos that show this stock content, so KZread doesn't seems to have a problem with it. Hope that helps!

Good video! Thank you. One aspect is unclear, though. Who owns the copyright of the videos you create using content downloaded from Envato Elements? They say copyright owners retain rights over their content, even if you get a commercial license to use it. So, can you claim copyright on the videos you make if they contain content copyrighted by others? 🙄

The only restrictions they list is that you can't use them for broadcast (TV or theatrical release), and on-demand services (like on-demand T-shirt printing etc). Vyond has prepared masked scenes that have a character talking, but inside the mask there is also a desk, monitor, and keyboard. How do you put these other assets into a mask?

I'm not sure how you came across it, but you probably aren't subscribed. Maybe you just came across the free envato files. In one of my projects, the SME complained that there are no fingers shown in the contemporary characters, and it seems weird. I didn't see any option to customize the hands of the characters, but I'm asking here just in case I missed something
You're right, there isn't an option to customize the hands on the characters. I think it Contemporary is the "minimalist" style in Vyond :)

Hi.. I was looking at this to do intro videos for companies and independent businesses. Most business sites don't have an intro video, making it boring. Give key information of your business in a two-minute video and it would make a world of difference. Are the rendered videos made with Synthesia an MP4 download ... and then uploaded to a host? Basically, would I own the video once its made?... or is it hosted with Synthesia. Thank you
Hi Andre - That sounds like a great idea! Yes you can download them as MP4s, then upload them to the websites. The videos will also be stored in your Synthesia account as long as you keep your subscription, so you can edit them if needed. The only restriction is that you can't use Synthesia stock avatars in any kind of paid ads or broadcast TV. the text to video feature does not work on my Mac in chrome - after uploading text it has "please wait" for the next 12 hours. I want my money back. I can do quicker myself in Final Cut Pro.

Here are a few things you could try: 1) Clear your chrome browser history 2) Try it in an incognito browser window 3) Contact their support at [email protected] and explain the problem. One subscription is enough if you are one person who will be using the Envato assets. Even if you're creating multiple projects or websites for clients, your Envato license continues to work for you. Here's the link to use👉1.envato.market/kjo0E3 The only reason you would need to get more Envato subscriptions is if you have a team of people in your organization - then each person needs their own Envato subscription (you can get the team discount, described in the video) When you get a template, you should get all of the pictures shown too. Just remember to add a new license for every new project where you use those pictures

If you get an annual plan, you can create a custom avatar that's a digital twin of yourself (called a webcam avatar). @@lavriris9343 It sounds like you might need to use the ElevenLabs dubbing feature for that. Dubbing is available when you upgrade to the starter plan ($1 for the first month). Here's some info about dubbing elevenlabs.io/blog/introducing-dubbing-studio/ On the free plan you need to enter the script written in the desired language to get the audio in that language. Russian is supported in both the free plan and other plans too.
