Hi Frank. Thank you very much for this! Do you still have the original video file before uploading it on KZread? I previously restored a bunch of footage and would like to try something with this wonderful Masterclass, but without the ugly KZread compression. 😊 Thanks again!
@franktechniek23 күн бұрын
Hi Francois, When I started to upload these videos (VHS tapes), some 10 years ago, the tapes were already very old (1985!). format was NTSC (not PAL) so I even had to buy a NTSC machine for that. Tapes and files are all gone, so there is only this youtube material to work on. Best regards, Frank

Paul de Leeuw is such a d!ck!! Got a magician as great and sweet as Tommy Wonder and he only got interested in blasting a beautifully performed routine.. Am sure things wouldn't have been this peaceful if he tried doing it to Copperfield or Penn & Teller.. Penn, especially, would have given it back royally.. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Magic is about entertainment. The fact that that people took the time to make these props to entertain other people is, in and of itself, an art. To come up with a design that is both convincing and entertaining is not easy. It takes a lot of thought, effort, and determination. I would argue that the process of making magical props is actually harder than performing with them.

Thank you so much Frank - there was a "mechanical" sound when Tommy played with the controlling metal-insert, is that the same for you, or is this some noise on the video? Yes, magicians and hobbyists are keenly focused on performance and skill-development - even in a live audience there are those who _see_ the gimmicks, the misdirections etc. & we have the same here, Frank - so it's with great appreciation that, in fact, you are keeping Magic honed through your offerings. Cheers!
