Great video. Check the windows VM event viewer where it was failing to produce prompt. I have seen it before where it fails to trust the certificate produced by DC server and never produce a dialog box to sign in. One way to do it is to install DC server cert manually or via GPO onto local root store on windows VM. Start with event viewer first. I also have a question, if you have a daisy chain phone /PC seems you likely have to configure radius authentication on phone with keyed credentials already for phone to land on phone vlan, correct? Appreciate your feedback to question and also when you try my suggestion.

You couldn't use a VirtIO network because the drivers didn't exist yet. You can probably switch back to VirtIO drivers after it's installed. I think there is a way to install the network driver while installing Windows but I forget exactly where that option is.

No configuration to be done in the router. You'll need to port forward let say RDP port number in pfsense to the internal WIndows 11 VM IP.

A DMZ is a direst connection to your WAN, either to your public IP or External IP, or in the case of your setup, it would be your main home IP range. Also you wouldn't set up a dhcp on it as it would receive an IP from the WAN. You should actually call your DMZ a Guest Network at most, but even then it would be locked down and restricted, to using certain ports, and have RFC1918 to prevent network hopping.

If there is a requirement to connect from management PC which is behind the WAN of the Pfsense going to an internal LAN PC, we need to configure port forwarding in pfsense.
