I prefer to drop the nuke. The area is no longer attractive for other players (who are actively participating in the event) and they change sessions. If there are no players who will do the event for afk, there are no rewards for afk.

You do know that as long as they don’t spawn that they still are being registered in that location right? Meaning even when they’re dead, they still get credit for doing the even as long as they’re in range.

I ain’t gonna lie, I usually participate in events, but the grind never stops. So if I grab dinner, I’m not gonna take a break. I don’t want to miss out on potential rewards. Sometimes I’ll spawn in so I can count towards this seasons event and guarantee a mutated party pack. I’ll always get back to the event as soon as I’m not busy. Of course I’d never do this if the player count is short, just when there’s so many players in an event that my screen looks like fireworks 😂

Ammo is non existent with chainsaw. Cold Shoulder uses shotgun ammo. If you're short on that you kill too slowly (use too much ammo killing). Plasma cores are cheap to make considering the ammo and firepower, same with fusion cores, dirt cheap to plop a fusion reactor and some turrets down at Poseidon and let it rack you up cores. 5mm ammo is a non issue as well. Plasma ammo and explosive ammo is the only truly expensive ammo if you're running plasma flamer or auto grenade launcher. Repairing chainsaw should be a non issue as well. This game is easy without getting reflected on or ganged up on or you're trying to solo public events/bosses. Have fun.
