Sharing my experiences from my first track days to now. Lots of growth and learning. Excited to learn a new car and share it with ya'll. Currently enjoying HPDE with NASA and hoping to get my competition license in 2024! Having fun with the family and looking forward to many more adventures!

Are you putting a harness in the car too or just a seat?
Plan is for just a seat right now. The driver’s seat moves on it’s rail now so just want something solid.
I heard the first guy that went through ate shit
Yeah several guys said they busted it on our first stage. I tried to slow myself down.
@@lmkmotorsportslol it was me, I was the first guy. This just came up as recommended hahaha
Yep these things are definitely making a comeback!!
They are starting to get real affordable
little shaky with the camera
Yeah it was mounted to the windshield with a phone mount. Not the best solution.
What camera system are you running?
It’s a GoPro 10 that was just clipped to the shoulder strap on my plate carrier.
Love the Micheal Jackson tribute 1 glove lol
Well it helps if I dont leave the other inside my helmet lol
Awesome sound! :)
It’s running!!!
Verynice
Thank you!
That’s some real speed
It was my first weekend with the car running well. Really hope to get better with it here soon.
Cool name!
Thank you!
Car sounds real good. Might be worth looking into moving the camera though. Maybe somewhere a little higher to look over the dash?
Yeah I used the mount that was on the seat but I think I’m going to try mounting it to the roll cage in the car.
Sounds amazing
Thank you I appreciate it!
What has been done to the car? Is it still on the 3.55 stock gears?
The only thing I can tell from looking at it is a BBK intake and exhaust. I’m not positive one the gearing tho. Speedometer said I hit 140 but gps said 130. Idk if that’s from gearing or running 18’s instead of the factory 17’s.
@@lmkmotorsports my car came with factory option 18's. Maybe your car did too?
@@fabelgamer7410 it came with the 17’s cause I have them in the shed lol. It’s on aftermarket 18s. What size tire you run? These are 245/40r18
@@lmkmotorsports 235/50zr18 with a brenspeed tuned sct
Hello ✌🏼 I’m the Miata guy @13:00 lol. Thank you for the good clean point by.
Anytime man! Nice driving! I got to practice a lot of those over the weekend!
@@lmkmotorsports it’s okay, anywhere else but Roebling will get my left arm sore haha!
I bet he’s gonna have a blast in that car, just be careful!
We are gonna do everything as safe as we can. He will start out in HPDE 1 with an instructor.
Awesome job and car 🚗
Maybe try a relay for the fan switch or a switch with a fuse? Looks like your other switches have a fuse or something.
Yeah I think I may try a relay next time I tear it down. To be honest I’m not the most familiar with wiring and was trying a Hail Mary before taking it to the dyno
Nice looking car! Great Job!
Thanks!
Nice first car. Congrats and be careful
Thanks 👍

?
where do people buy theese
There are several Facebook groups and racingjunk.com
What motor is it? A nascar?
No it’s a mildly built LS2. Haven’t had it on dyno but probably around 525 at the crank.
you can't get a carburetor lean enough?? fouling plugs???
Yeah leaned it out as much as the carb would go. Too much fuel pressure I believe.
Hope you get it up and running good!
Thank you. I think I’ve got it idling well. Will see next month for sure.
Think you will like the Sniper once it's sorted. No more messing with jets & float levels, and probably has cold start enrichment to help fire it up plus data log capability. I installed a street version Sniper with timing control on my built 350 Oldsmobile engine several years ago and the drivability is excellent.
@@johnmcmullen456 I think I will once I have it all tuned. Not being able to just drive the car on the road makes setting it up difficult.
@@lmkmotorsportsWoud be great if you had a tuner with a chassis dyno to dial you in. Unfortunately none near where I live. I pretty much copied somebody else's tune off the web who had a similar engine to mine and made slight adjustments to eliminate detonation. You might want to invest in a wide band oxygen sensor gauge kit to monitor wide open A/F ratio.
So you're not going to make Road Atlanta? Nice video I'm sure you'll get it running right. Its only money!
No it won’t be ready by then. Waiting on some Scott’s long around the front plug wires.
Sounds amazing. I hope its going to be fun driving that racecar
Absolutely lovely ❤
Like a real race car no speedometer in sight
Yeah no need for one lol
Hurry up get it fixed . I'm ready for November to see it haul ass
that would be a dream come true for sure awesome car man
Come on out with NASA Southeast! We go to multiple tracks
😩 "promosm"
Sorry what does that mean?
I used to have a car that sounded like that.
Puts a smile on my face every time I crank it up
Sir, your headlights look like stickers
Really makes things difficult at night
@@lmkmotorsports at least you won’t scare the deer with the highbeams
That’s a asphalt street stock, some people confuse these cars to be nascars, you can tell the different between a NASCAR and street stock because on nascars the front looks the same as the car model it represents but street stocks front end is longer than the car model it represents.
It’s a Lefthander chassis with a 5 Star Impala body on it. Set up as a road race car for SCCA GTA.
Looks aswome..... Quick questions what would u need to register it as road legal?
Would need headlights, turn signals, and a horn to pass safety inspection.
@@lmkmotorsports thanks mate I appreciate it
Need this bad boy just to sit in my yard and idle all day just to piss off the noisy neighbors 😅😂
man a random video that pops up in my recommended now makes me want to go upgrade my motor lol. Looks and sounds good man!
I appreciate it! Nothing beats a wicked N/A motor
man, this sounds like freedom and bald eagles 🦅
It puts a smile on my face every time I crank it!
Wow that sounds amazing. What engine is it? And what exhaust pipe is it h or x type?
It’s a Schwanke 6.0 LS2 built to SCCA GTA rules. No real crossover, it meets at a small muffler then exits at the two tips right at the passenger door
Is it road legal?
No it’s a track only car
That’s awesome, any plans or is it even possible for road conversation
There are several people who have converted them, but my plan is to use it to keep moving up through NASA HPDE to get my comp license and race it.
How expensive was this ?
Not as expensive as some think. You can get a well sorted car for between 20-30k.
damn 30k only?
