In 1982, on the advice of Didier Joël from Sud Radio, I was lucky enough to be able to create my own radio show in Toulouse. "Paroles et musique" was the title of this weekly show. This song was originally sung by shepherds tending their flocks in the mountains. To make themselves heard when they wanted to communicate with their families, they had to speak so loudly that they decided to sing. And that's how it stayed, and how it became part of the Basque DNA! Since then, they have become the most beautiful voices in France, along with Corsican singers.

Bonjour André. Merci d'être venu me rendre visite pour mon retour de vacances. Michel était quelqu'un de très spécial pour moi ! Un père pour pour ma fille, un ami, un protecteur, un amour... Son départ m'a laissée désemparée pendant de longs mois. Je le croyais, très puérilement, "immortel", pouvant survivre à tout. Lui qui avait connu la guerre au Liban et les conflits à travers le monde ! Lui qui avait survécu, du moins je le croyais, à ses blessures de guerre. Ce colosse était en réalité une montagne d'amour et de force. Il avait promis de veiller sur nous ! Mais ses blessures de guerre l'ont sournoisement détruit à l'intérieur au point de nous l'enlever des années après ! Il était persuadé qu'une fois là-haut il combattrait au côté de St Michel, le patron des parachutistes. Je lui souhaite d'avoir trouvé sa voie, mais surtout d'avoir trouvé le repos. Je veux croire qu'il veille sur nous comme il me l'avait promis. Il m'avait fait promettre de toujours parler de lui si quelque chose de grave lui arrivait. Je teindrai ma promesse tant que je serai de ce monde. Cette chanson lui va si bien, nous va si bien, et il me plaît à penser que c'est un peu de notre histoire que je vous dévoile avec ce partage musical et visuel. Voilà mon cher André, tu sais tout, ou presque. He jumped on top of me and kisses me crazily like he always used to, thereafter I've never dreamt of him. But he always appears in Kenley's dream surprisingly, while Yoshi is alive, he always ignores Kenley because Kenley refuses to carry hold him or whatsoever when we first took Yoshi home, that time Kenley was only 9 years old. Last week Kenley woke up telling me he dreamt of holding Yoshi on his lap sitting down on the kitchen floor together with my late sister Molly 😢, he's telling us he's fine happily in Heaven with my late sister again now.
