  A nice idea but impractical for most DYIers. How do you get to step 1 with the U shaped base plate? How do you bend the 1/8" aluminum plate with out a heavy duty sheet metal brake? I am an experienced DYIer and I don't know how to do that with any simple tools you might find in a home shop. A better solution is the VILTROX L116T bi-color, 95+ CRI led panel light. Less than US $40 including shipping. Dimmable can be powered with a NP-F battery like the F550. BTW, you could replace the heliarc welded handle with a cheap mini-tripod.

  Also a blur on one side is when the distance between the lenses is wrong (the focus wheel). You must take it out and adjust it again (try to screw it in gently).
