Good video. I have replaced my transmission bands before but I always removed the whole transmission cover which is a lot of work. Last year I replaced the band for the brake with a Kevlar one because I couldn't get the cotton ones anymore. I thought I had some cotton banding but couldn't find it until after I installed the Kevlar one..... figures. Anyway I don't think I'm getting as much friction with the Kevlar as the cotton ones. Yours has the wider brake band so it might not make any difference but I am planning on going back to cotton but this time installing them through the transmission door since I don't feel like doing it the hard way. Anyway has anybody else seen a difference in the friction from Kevlar vs. cotton?
