Awesome video! And painting!
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you for a wonderfully informative video demo! Also what's the website where you found the photo? I thought you said splash but I can't find a website with that name, other than a pure water website. Thank you again, Patt!

Thank you!! That was what we where striving for.
This was such a treat! Your students’ work was very lovely. Really enjoyed the 12 petite paintings. Thank you.
They did a great job! Only one had worked with cold wax and oil before so it was a learning curve. The 12 painting exercise was everyone’s favourite. Have you done it?
Good one Patt. What a productive mob you are! 😊
Yes indeed!
Hello Everyone! I just finished teaching a five day retreat workshop. Enjoy the results!

what type of brush are you using to paint the background?
I am using a liquitex paddle brush.
Lovely! 👍 👍. But I personally wouldn't cut them up but treat it as ONE painting. Just mat board it up as is and frame it! Half a dozen of these and you have a very very good exhibition.
Thank you. That’s another way of displaying them!
That is beautiful Patt! Soft blues are a nice contrast to the brighter foreground.
Thanks Jen! It went off to a new home too!
@@pattscrivenerartist beauty!
I’m really interested in how you often use about quarter sky and three quarters land Patt. Makes room for for a lot of interest and play with the land.
I like to exaggerate the rule about thirds. I sometimes do it the other way around depending on what the painting is about.
Are the colours you used for your background transparent?
No I clean whatever is on my brush from the painting I am working on. I continue on with transparent in the initial laters of the figures before switching to opaque.
Hello Pat, so I've tried to find your '7 Tips to Loosen Up' and I get sent to Flodesk but can't find them there. Is there any other way to access them? Thanks 🎉
Sorry about that - the link seems to be broken. Try this pattscrivenerartist.myflodesk.com/7tips

Pat, this is special. Thank you. I am imagining you as a wee girl, sewing in your basement to avoid the heat, and I’m smiling! I’m sitting here drinking my morning coffee, thinking what a lovely way this is to start my day. Thank you.
Thanks Jennifer! I did a lot of sewing-started out with simple aprons, tea towels, and then onto Barbie clothes and later clothes for me and my family. Wish I had more time to sew now.
Do you ever include feet?
I do. Here is a video kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z21mp9CPp6fJlNY.htmlsi=PLXjgAHiNKWY4-hl
