My family was enslaved on this plantation…
Beautiful
PLANTATIONS ARE "FORCED WORK CAMPS"...NOTHING GLAMOROUS ABOUT IT !!! 🤬🤬🤬
Thank you for you video content. Keep up the good work
Call the property exactly what it was, it was a forced labor camp.
The book “Tombee: Portrait of a Cotton Planter” gives fascinating insight into to the history of thjs property.
Ill take it
Hard to imagine how beautiful heaven is but this has got to be close
Amazing -So cool -
I bet these posers havent even been as deep as charles and they have permission lol
How can anyone even associate with the king ranch after beaty tells all...and pat...the history of that place is shitty and full of "privilege".
This Plantation has some very serious history behind it! First, most should recognize that drive from “Forrest Gump” as it’s the “Run, Forrest, Run” driveway. The boarding house in the film was built just for the film, appears it was torn down for the new home now. This Plantation grows heirloom, organic Carolina Gold rice. I have some but have never cooked it. I’ve heard that it is all that the Emperor of China eats, that there is nothing that compares. Could be our briney water. (?) Harriet Tubman launched her 1863 raid on the Combahee River, rescuing 800 slaves and delivering to the Union valuable goods confiscated from Confederate forces. *Its history but a betrayal to the Plantation, in my opinion. 1865, Sherman's troops burned the plantation and it was confiscated by the government. Baggett was able to obtain the property back in October of the same year. This meaning that, I’m assuming, there was an original home on the property.
How can Harriet Tubman betray a slaver? You mean, a woman slave beat them and now you’re mad about it. The Confederate Flag is important, so we never forget who the losers were. 🇺🇸
@@itypedmynamehere1807 Yeah, the losers were the Dixiecrats, now known as the Democrats. It's sad to see that so many are blinded to the truth/facts.
This is insane my dad built this place the owner Bobby Glover the property is next to the Ridgeland golf course my dad spent 13 years of my life mining the sand from that land there is a giant lake 300 acres to be exact I drove all over that land it was so amazing growing up on this land
Where is the most affordable; yet, most beautiful place to live in South Carolina? I don't suppose the owner of this gorgeous plantation would be willing to sell half an acre? I would build a home to retire in. Absolutely beautiful!
Ain’t no way you get dat close to actual wild game tf 😂
Try going to South Texas. It’s a different thing than anywhere else. No fences.
There is nothing glamourous about plantations WTF is wrong with you white people ?? y'all are sick af in the head. So much blood was spilled on that land. I hope the angry spirits that can't rest haunt you colonizers for life 🤬🖕🏾🖕🏾

Nope
@brownlandandplantations might as well be you spoiled little rich fuck. You wouldn't know how to hunt it if wasn't for a side by side and Sitka. Walk 25 miles in 3 days and rattle one in and then you'll be doing something. Till then you are just some dumbass shooting tame deer. I'm in southern illnois where the ground is all leased out and I'm taking 5+ 150s a year from stupid fucks like you EVERY YEAR. I hope you find your best deer caped out.
@@brownlandandplantations no one would have clicked on this piece of shit video unless they were planning to laugh at ya fyi
@@brownlandandplantations you are shooting a deer that literally anyone with a pocket book same as yours can shoot. If I wanted to be a bitch and work my ass off for the man I could make 150k a year and come shoot the same fucking deer, grinding your ass off in the heat or in some fucking office ain't how to kill deer
@@brownlandandplantations credit the poachers for your most viewed video btw.
I have visited many plantations in my life. I hope to see this one soon.
Saddened to know I am related to the previous owners.
What a beautiful place!!!!!!
Love this!
Beautiful trees
Alot to offer❤
Beautiful
Travel back in time ok.. not really if you don’t teach the real history that happened on that land can’t wait to buy then off
No. No. "Travel back in time and appreciate what the good Lord gave" him.
I love the way plantation houses look. Lots of land, long driveways, oak trees, etc. I just hate the history behind them! I hope one day I can build my own from scratch. :)
Does Lin Wood own this? Has Oliver Stone filmed here?
I think so. I follow him on Telegram and he quite often shows video and pictures of this property.
The same Oliver Stone from the Satanic Order of Melchizedek? Wonder what was filmed in such a remote wooded area surrounded by water, that the public has not seen?
Does Lin Wood own this now?
He owns Tomotley...not sure if this is the same
Wow I got family that live there...
Just choose to believe in Yeshua, He is the only begotten Son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He took God's wrath upon Himself, that was the punishment for everyone in sin. He died and rose to give you new life in Him. Born again, a new creation. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. By belief in Him alone you can be saved, you receive eternal life and you need to spend time with Him to know Him. Attend a church, read and obey scripture. Be saved, free, forgiven, healed, delivered, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need. He alone satisfies. You must believe, choose to believe in Him because you will spend eternity in hell if you don't believe. Seek God in scripture and learn who He is and obey His every word, live in obedience to the full gospel like you are supposed to. That is life more abundantly that Yeshua said in John 10:10 Obey scripture and live in God's blessings because disobedience brings curses, that's suffering like illness and demons, poverty and loss. Deuteronomy 28, it's about curses and blessings and there are other scriptures telling this truth too. See your worth in scripture too, see how God sees you, how He loves you and has plans for you..read it all and do so often. It's about God, how He is and how we are supposed to live and it does tell your worth, 💕. Trust God it is absolutely wise to do because He is faithful to every word and wants us to be faithful to every word.
Very lush granary indeed I wonder if there any lovely tree people there offspring u know3.5

This place is beautiful you have to see it in person to see the true beauty of the property. My wife and I went here in the summer of 2021 for a party that LIN WOOD was the host when he ran for office here in SC .Lin wood is the Current owner of this place that he bought from TED TURNER od CNN
All true except the Ted Turner part. Tomotley has never been owned by the Turners.
@@brownlandandplantations I thought that I heard Lin tell us that when we were at Cottonwood Maybe it was another plantation .
@@attilalako9491 the plantation to the east is Bindon. That is the one I bet he mentioned. Ted Turners father owned that one for a long time.
@@brownlandandplantations thats probable it. The place is absolutely amazing !!
Previous owners were the Mixon family.
How do you get to hunt down there tried finding a email for them no luck I did email and getbin contact with the king
We bought our hunt at an auction… I’m not sure how you connect normally.
@@brownlandandplantations what was the ticket in it if you dont mind me asking
how much
This property has sold.
We have matrix for the risk on land purchase. We're looking on prospects
No worries it would be alright.
These homes were the so called black people homes of America the real original Americans. Not at all what we were programmed to think
Make sure yall at King Ranch pick up the 2nd book from Charles.
Pretty sure all this beautiful land was stolen from the dark indigenous tribes of the Carolinas. We’ll be back for what’s ours so very soon 😊
nope. The indigenous tribes sold it for moonshine. FACT
