  Awesome ride is the Tip Top originally build back in the late 1970s first one I went on was at Dreamland Margate in the year of 1981 the Tip Top ride was green in colour and you can still find pics of it on the Internet just ask Google 👊

  Hopefully Looping Group will renovate and modernise this ride and re open it. They could do wonders with new audio, special effects and some screen scences and some upgrading of the movement in some of the scenes and some new bits of scenery or characters.

  The workload and attention to detail that went into building this, plus the planning and discussion that contributed to its origins culminated in a truly ridiculously pathetic, in fact there are no words to describe the truly crappness of this experience. I cringe for those poor am dram actors that have to perform around it . Whoever dreamed up this poop and actually got the idea off the ground must have some clout. But also needs to be violently sacked and prosecuted for wasting everyone’s time.

  was their go kart or car ride that went through some diner plesae let me know. we went to blackpool in oct 1979 for my brothers 10th birthday my oldest brother wanted to go on loop loop but i believe it was shut down, went back in 87 for day with my mum only 15 then but amazing time in arcades. space harrier, double dragon green beret paperboy. list go on, i think if i was reisdent of blackpool in my teens would spent fortune.

  Hi, yes, the Gold Mine here went through the Magnolia Cafe, with the River Caves also passing through the same 'grotto' scene. The cafe had a balcony where you could sit and watch both rides passing.

  What i liked about this ride was that you were high up on concrete supports and the log flume track was actually over a pool of water the entire time, so when you looked over the edge there was a large drop into what looked like deep water. They should have refurbished this ride and kept it going. Blackpool had always had a tradition of having vintage rides but more recently they have been removing these older classic rides and IMO spoiling the heritage of the park. Grand Prix is the latest casualty. Its only a matter of time before they tear down one of the classic coasters, you watch. Alton did the same removing their log flume which i also used to enjoy. Not thrill rides like coasters but log flumes are nice to take a short break from all the noise and hustle and bustle and all of the family can enjoy them.

  Blackpool have always taken out thier classics! Reel, Mouse, Whip, Turtle Chase, Water Chute, Flume etc I enjoy a flume or rapids as much as a coaster, especially a scenic ride. I don't see why Infusion couldn;t have sat on higher footers, retaining the flume and Tom Sawyer ride underneath! lol

  Fault was caused by operator error. If you watch the off ride footage at the start, the operator starts the nod before the boom has reached its maximum. I am guessing similar happened with the on ride footage, the glitch on camera was probably caused by an illegal ride action causing the rides safety to kick in. Wasn’t a power failure, the lighting and sound system was still active, just poor ride operation.

  My sis in law dragged me on this as a kid as a ‘walk through haunted ride’ when we sat down n the room started spinning i had s full blown panic attack

  I got a picture next to the chained oak tree and my face is all messed up I look like a pumpkin it’s so creepy 😭 to make it more creepy I felt really eerie around there so im terrified 0-0

  a vecona slc one of the worst models of any coaster as there ear banging and boring but Odisey at Fantesy island is good its the tallest one and Kong at Paromount Great America and K2 at Kentucky Kingdom the worst

  Who’s watching in 2024? Speaking of 2024, the ride is now called The Wave and it a sit down coaster now. When the wave opens, you should do a video of the ride to the song ‘sit down’ by James because it’s a good song for it now you have to sit down
