  I loved platform heels! I could run in them and my feet didn't hurt too bad after a whole day. These modern heels are awful and most don't even look good.

  There is also a video somewhere on youtube explaining that the shoes for fashion shows are frequently not sized right for the model wearing it, or they are a custom one-off design that doesn't really provide stability for confident usage, since they won't be used daily on the street.

  Maybe if you have worn heels a lot these wouldn’t feel like having heels on, but for someone who doesn’t those will 100% still feel like heels 😂

  Yup..still have pairs from 2012..in my storage container..every now and again I model in them .I haven't worn heels in years.❤❤ I remember being like 6'1 with those heels on and my friends were so tiny 😂 😂.. I had sexy strong calves❤

  I think what makes it look awkward is the way she's carrying her shoulders. In the past, her shoulders were forward with elbows bent, creating lots of angularity. However, at the Mugler show, her shoulders are back and low with her arms straight down by her sides, causing her to sway and bounce, which makes the walk look clunky.
