Have you'll ever stayed in building 5 or 6? I hear those buildings are pet friendly. Want to know how old those buildings are.
Hi @@vedamichele1295 no I never stayed in those buildings. I will have to look into that. I will keep you posted soon.
I. Toured that resort back in the Mid90s to get Free! Disney tickets.😂😂😂
Thank you so much for this review we are a family of 5 as well but I am a jacuzzi lover 😂 and I saw they have a hot tub on the property as well which I can't wait to try. I think I'll cancel my Hilton reservation and book with them 🤣🤣 instead it's cheaper and we're separate from the kids with this. Thank you
You're welcome! Yes, the separate rooms are a plus when traveling with kids. Just a little bit of quiet is needed.😂 Thank you for watching☺️ Have fun!
Thanks for this video it provided some much needed insight on this resort. You sons takeover portion was a nice and conical addition!
Thanks for the tour. Do the buildings have elevators?
Thanks for watching! Yes they have elevators. When we were there the housekeepers held up the elevators a lot😩 We were on the 3rd floor, sometimes it seemed forever for the elevators.
Thank you for the amazing tour of Star Island Resort Kissimmee, Florida.
You’re Welcome☺️ THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
Great review! I am heading to Grand Vista in a few weeks. As a Marriott Vacation Club Owner, it has been over 10 years since I was at this location so it is good to see the rooms are updated.
Oooooh that’s a long time. I hope you enjoy your stay! We did!
Hello! Great video! Which building were you in? I've stayed in Bella towards the front, but I typically prefer staying in the St. Augustine buildings because the rooms are a little bigger
Does Woodstone have stairs or elevators? We’re in our 70’s and are trying to decide between Woodstone and Regal Vista. Thank you for your help.
Woodstone does have some units with stairs and only the three story buildings have elevators. But they are good with accommodating your needs. So if you ask for little to no stairs.
Thanks for the video😊
GREAT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO!!! THANK YOU!!! 💖💖 My deed says building 21, yay! Thank you Universe !!
Thank you!! 🤗
Is this the 2 bedroom deluxe? 🤔
Hi there, I’m not sure if it’s considered a deluxe. If you call the resort they will be able to tell you the styles they have.
Hi there, I’m not sure if this unit is considered a deluxe.
@@TheFulltimeVacationer thanks! I have been there before and we got that same condo. We’re going back this year and I couldn’t tell if I reserved the same again. So I was just wondering. Doesn’t really matter though. Thank you for responding! :)
You’re welcome! Have fun!!
Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you and your family 🎉❤
You’re welcome and Thank you🥰 same to you!
We leaving tomorrow can't wait to hit that shower 🚿 good price thanks any more tips?

Can you book this resort without being a owner
You sure can. If you are affiliated with RCI you can book cheaper with them. But you have to be an owner at a resort.
My previous comment was for a different video so my bad lol. We do have a timeshare at Star Island though but this year will be the first year we’ll be able to visit
Resorts have certain units reserved for only owners so hopefully none of these issues will effect you. Be sure to go to Karaoke it is the Best!!
How old is that resort? I've never heard of them. But thanks for the room tours. It's definitely dated, and I will not be staying there.
I’m not sure how old it is, but hopefully it gets renovation soon. The resort has a lot of potential.
Nice‼️
Thank you!
Yeah treatment isn't done right it won't stop at all. It gets worse cause using the wrong o g insecticide drives them inward into walls amd drop ceiling
Why not rank the resorts? I have not seen anybody do that yet?
I normally do in my newsletters by grades. I haven’t created a newsletter for this one yet. But I’m going to be doing shorts with my after stay experience. What I’m showing is first expressions and I realized sometimes the experience is not great once we have settled in. So stay tuned I will be including our full experience☺️
Pull out sofa?
Yes it has a pull out sofa
Absolutely perfect review just what I needed. Thank you sooooo much ❤
Thank you! Thank you for watching!
I was just there and enjoyed my stay
Nice!! Did you get to stay in one of the updated units?
What building was this?
This building was the Plaza.
Do you know if the local HOA there is good to people? I'm looking into buying a condo there.
I’m sorry, I don’t know. We don’t own at this location.
@@TheFulltimeVacationer Ah. Gotcha. Have you at least heard anything about them? The local clubs do seem to have good reviews, and that does appear to be a good vacation destination.
No HOA.
Thank you!
You’re welcome😊 Thank you for watching!
wait...the jacuzzi room has TWO patios?! one off from bedroom and then another off from dining area?!
Yes
@@TheFulltimeVacationerbut they are balconies right? When i think of patio, i think of 1st floor, and balcony is higher. I hope i didnt just book ground level 😮😢
@@dreawint what type of unit did you book exactly? There are no patios (flat) to my knowledge. Some balconies maybe closer to the ground (but they all have railings). It can be a good thing because you can feed the deer, groundhogs, skunks, and fox. (My daughter and I hand fed the deer before)
@@TheFulltimeVacationer I booked the one bedroom Partial kitchen with Jacuzzi. But I assume I won't be able to know where they will put me Until the day of. Or maybe I can call at least the day before or the morning of and try to make a request? Also, for partial kitchen (which I'm ok with), can I expect zero silverware, plates, glasses, etc? Also, cant remember if it was a Woodstone video or eagle trace, but for the partial, the poster showed that under the kitchen cabinet, there was one of those table top grill pad things that you could still cook on. Yes? As for the grill outside, call me silly, but I've never had good luck with grilling (always had a guy to do it for me LOL) so I probably wouldnt mess with all that. But just curious, would we have to mess around with charcoal, or is it nice and easy with gas and just turn buttons? Thanks so much! I go in 4 days!! nice little getaway for my sons 13th bday!!
@@TheFulltimeVacationer oh that's so amazing about possible deer, etc.! I didn't even think of that but totally makes sense esp by getting one of the areas IN the mountains/woods. Which I assume woodstone really isn't. Yay!! cant wait to tell my son. Of course we will mostly be at pools, waterparks, and zip lines. But I hope to enjoy balcony sitting and view at least a few times. Any idea if there is a best time to view deer or any of the others. such as mainly early morning, or maybe evenings closer to sunset? Or really just a crapshoot. =0
I saw the map for woodstone and it seems to have a lot of things in the area like pool, some food places, and other activities. When I look at the map for eagle, i Just see all the condos but dont see anything else, not even a pool. We will likely mostly enjoy waterpark anyway, but does eagle not have a pool?! and speaking of waterpark, I see the tickets on the website. Do you have to pay for each day you go? Or once you buy one, you can use it for every day that you are staying at the condo?? THanks!
The pool for Eagle Trace area is called Mountainside Pool (seasonal) and Massanutten Rec center. Be sure to check the pool hours because they have limited the pool hours due to staff shortage. The Waterpark may have multiple days to purchase. That would be something to ask concierge. I hope you have fun. If the weather is nice try Fling golf.
@TheFulltimeVacationer thx for the help! After seeing ur answer, I got a better map and more online research and now know of both rec centers AND the very specific hrs. Even found a nice side by side comparison chart. Love those!
@@dreawint good, I hope you enjoy your stay!
so you said there are two Eagles, Killy and then the one you are showing (I didn't catch the name?). But then when I looked at resort map, I do see the one that says Killy and then two other sections at top of map that just say "Eagle Trace" but dont have a specification. But really, when booking, how do you know which one you are getting or how can you choose the one you want? It's not organized by street name, just 1 or 2 br, and if it has jacuzzi or not. I'm currently debating between Eagle Trace and Woodstone. Currently, they are about same price, so it's more about room inclusions/exclusions, locations, type of balcony view, etc on what will help me decide. Online it seems to say that woodstone is in the "valley", whatever that means, and Eagle is in the mountains. I definitely am hoping for some sort of nice mountain view, and not some of the ones I've seen that are just looking at the parkinglot or other buildings! Is it all just luck of the draw or maybe you can ask when reserving or at least check in?
There are three labeled Eagle Trace, (“Eagle Trace at Killy Court” & “Eagle Trace at Massanutten”) I prefer Eagle Trace at Massanutten. It looks like they changed the name to Eagle Trace “In the Valley” and “On the Hill. (They are waaaay better) If you get a two bedroom you will get the upstairs and downstairs which is really nice together. Only the partial kitchen will give you two patios. Because you will have a grill on the front. Tip: to avoid having a weird walk up to your building try to avoid getting building numbers 225-253. You will thank me later😊 If you get the Eagle Trace in the Valley. As far as I know that’s where they have started the updates. Also Woodstone has a more modern look. If you want a more mountain feel Eagle Trace would be better. Woodstone is great for walking and closer to all the activities. So it’s all about what you like. Grills are on the higher levels to keep out of reach of bears. So if you get a upstairs unit. But they do have shareable grills accessible near the units
@TheFulltimeVacationer wow thanks so much, Ms. Night owl!! I had to pull the trigger (trip is THIS weekend 😮😮) so just wemt for it and booked eagle. Its just me and my son, so its already too big, so def didnt need 2 bedroom or 2 stories, or 2 pull out couches. Thanks for all the tips amd what numbers to hopefully avoid. But i dont know what kind of preference I really get. Im not a time share owner or RCi. Just regular booking guest. My biggest desire: REALLY good mountain view from my balcony, not the damn parking lot or the other units! So i will ask amd hope
Thanks for the info. We're staying there soon.
Have fun!! Thanks for watching.
excellent video presentation! thank you for capturing the whole feel of the resort
Awww, Thank you so much! You’re welcome as well, I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Very nicely done!
Thank you! And thanks for watching☺️
Great video, very helpful. My husband and I are visiting later this week and now I need to call and make some changes apparently 😂😂❤
Oh great! I hope you and your husband enjoy your time there. Thank you for watching!
old looking 😢
Yes I agree. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the breakdown. How do you go about requesting a specific room or building prior to arrival?
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching. When you check in just ask can you stay in a specific building. Please understand it’s not guaranteed. Also Sometimes you can call the day before your checkin and request, but it is based on availability. But it never hurts to ask. I hope that helps.
I'm staying here in August. This video was very helpful. Thank you♥️
Thank you for watching!! Have fun! If you like Thai food, check out “Bangkok Garden” on Richmond Road😋 soooo good!
The updates look great. So, Dvd players are gone it looks like? Thanks for posting!
Yes finally, Thanks for watching!
Hi
Hell, I watched a couple of your videos and I really got intrested in the way you were able to live in resorts. I'm really intrested in learning how you do it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, and Congratulations! If you have any questions on getting the best out of your timeshare please don’t hesitate to ask! Also thanks for watching!
You walking into Building 16/17 brought back so many good memories. We go here all the time when in Florida and even though the style is "older", building 16/17 are our favorites. We have left and entered that entrance so many times. ❤️❤️🌴🌴
Memories is the most important thing about vacationing! Thank you for watching☺️
Thanks for video. Looking Forward to visiting this property during Spring break.
