I really like it but i wish there were more lyrics, it was genuinely repetitive and i felt like the song was just on a loop or smth. Also the song deffo should've been longer, kpop companies and artists in general NEED to stop making songs less than at least 3 mins

What you call hot loser, the rest of the world calls down to earth. Being a manga reader is a loser? Now that's vicarious racism.

Hot take: unless kpop stans stop giving so much attention to underage groups this is only going to get worse. People talk so much about how wrong this is, but every time a new group debuts a 12-14 year old everyone always runs to support it if the music is decent enough

Yes, the industry is abusive. However, this doesnt mean theyre giving up fame or spotlight. A lot of the newer generations are trying to reach that by being social media enfluencers, tik tokers, streamers, etc.

That man is obsessed with aespa, wanting to "step on them" yet he's nowhere near them due to his addiction to quantity over quality. Aespa and sm the standard 💋 BIG 3 ONLY

all the dumb people here who say that the japanese line was bad, there is a meaning behind it. there is also another singer named lisa from japan. so many people mistake her for that singer lisa (who has collaborated with stray kids last year) so lisa is saying that sarcastically.

Recently i've been kind of passionate abt these kinds of things going on especially with how the lack of media literacy is being brought up so here's my rambling on what i think abt. I feel like ppl just have a hard time understanding music especially if they can't relate but that is also a limit if they can't think outside the box. Like a few years ago i hated rap but that was just because i didn't understand many references or slang and i didn't realize i could also interpret it in many ways. Ie to me as a chinese person living in europe the japanese part reminds me of when people assume my ethnicity and straight up say random greetings in any asian languages to seem smart or funny when it's overdone. The placement of the lyrics makes it seem like a contrast to the previous part about luxury and influence or a jab at ppl who do it themselves. The "i said hai hai that's my life life" sounds like a sarcastic remark while making clear it has been and is still happening, which comes across that she's clearly annoyed. Or it could be her flexing abt her language skills like some people say. Again, there are so many ways to interpret lyrics and that's what i find great about them. Never lose your interest to form a reasoning for your opinions, folks!

I've never heard one k pop song with English lyrics in it that made any sense. They just search for trending words and mix them together. A "rockstar" nowadays is a rapper cosplaying a rockstar. Everything is aesthetics not a lifestyle.

I watched a bit of it but I felt the release was mid. I didn't get the intention behind the lyrics and the song was just a song in my eyes. I love the vibes, I just see this mv as a one-time watch for me I wouldn't play this on repeat FYI im not hating just expressing my opinion😊

You find the song senseless until you get the explanation of it. That's what i felt when i first listened to it. I was like "what are thses lyrics??" But after getting the explanation of the song, i understood her choices of words.

" gold teeth on the dash"- showing of she got money by telling she got gold and a nice car " can you teach me japanese, that's my life"- her having experienced racism by nonasian putting her in a stereotypical box of all asian only being korean, chinese or japanese. That's the explanation, pls ask before making prejudices, yall know people who don't ask are stupid

I feel like it's not even the lyrics that are the issue fr I mean they're part of it because they imo are kinda cringey but the concept doesn't make sense whatsoever and the song itself is underwhelming
