More Life can be interpreted in different ways:
1. The literal way: You want more life, more years and live longer
2. The philosophical way: You want more out of life, more moments that make you feel alive
On this channel I want to explore the second definition and I am trying to beat my laziness through videography and story telling. Thanks for following this adventure with me.
I also have another channel in my native language in French where I vlog:youtube.com/@arisarakelian_fr?si=SmisnD9SB8EgM1l_

Hahah I know but I just liked the music 😇
Y'all had Messi tho
Hahaha yes!
As many have pointed out - including you - the problem isn't Barcelona but you're own depression. I've been here 2.5 years and love every minute of it. I ride my bicycle all over the city (and outside the city). Every morning and evening I walk my dogs through my neighborhood or take them to the beach. I joined a cycling club and established friendships. I also work from home, so you have to actually make an effort to get out and meet people. But this is true every place you would live.
100% correct! I had to made this video to realise it haha discovered fundamental flaws that only showed up after leaving the comfort of living in the country I grew up in! Thanks for the comment btw 🙌🏼
Italian here, living in London. First question that comes to mind is: How is your Spanish? It’s going to be really difficult to feel part of a city without speaking the language. Have you tried? Second question: If you find Barcelona depressing as a Belgian can you imagine how an Italian feels in London after 12 years? 😂😂 At least you have a JOB, you are young and living with a girlfriend in an exciting city, you have the SUN, the BEACH, the great outdoors, and a FRIENDLY people to mingle with. Greetings from a single gay Italian in London with not too many friends. Take care mate!
Nice video!
Thank you!!
Try to learn Spanish.
Yes! I am finally gonna take lessons… this is definetly a huge opportunity for me to get more out there and meet people!
I told you I would find it jaajjaaj amazing video 👌🏻
Hahaha wowwww…. WELCOME!
omg. i literally had a conversation with 3 other co-workers today and we all agreed that Barcelone was overrated and we didnt like it. KZread must be listening to my conversations.
Haha noo Barcelona is great! I was the problem haha
Hi, I just bought the same camera. What battery do you use, there are couple of suggestion on the web but I have no idea which works best? Which one do you use?
I had to go check because I could’t remember haha energizer ep625g
@@MoreLife_Aris I've read that alkaline batteries make the meter underexpose. Is that so in your case too and if so how do you compensate for the underexposure
@borislavgerov9700 okay so I am far from being an expert hahah but I didn’t notice too much trouble haha but again… I am a beginner when it come to film photography!
@@MoreLife_Aris yeah same, I just picked one canonet 28 up and I wanted to be sure that the photos will be okay haha 😅
@borislavgerov9700 hahah I get it! The trial and error part in film photography is more expensive haha but just go for it! ;)
Ce courageux
C’est pas tellement courageux tu sais gaha
Je ne comprends pas trop mais tu est courageux chapeau
Merci 🥰
Crazy boy, water must be fresh at that time 😅
Hahahah yeppppp
Is it really possible to change aperture manually? I read in other reviews that it goes automatic unless you attach a specific flash to the camera.
No, for sure you can! You do have an automatic option on the ring, and that seems to be working the best with the exposure bar, but you can also change it manually! 😇
@@MoreLife_Aris oh nice! So you managed to see some differences in the bokeh based on the aperture? (Because I cannot on mine 😂)
@Dodo96OMG damn that is a valid point hahahahahahha Not sure because I can’t remember which apareture I shot once the photos are developed but it’s a great point… I think you are right!
These are lovely little cameras. Had one.
Yes they are! 😍
i lived in barcelona for 7 years since i was born, i miss it there since i now live in the uk and miss living in the city and being able to walk through it
I get that… it is my favorite part of living here! Getting everywhere by bike or by foot!!
@@MoreLife_Aris its a lot easier than having to go by car to the centre
Looks like a beautiful city thank you for sharing
It really is!! 🙌🏼
you have a freaking gyatt man
Lol hahah
Amazing content! Immediate sub! Saw you replying to a lot of the previous comments and instantly made me write this one.. Some context about the question: fully remote worker wanting to move to barcelona or another city in europe like warsaw, lisbon, helsinki and a couple of other but reallyyyyy leaning more towards barcelona. Are you happy with your decision? I saw your content, the trip to iceland and overall focus on - doing more outside of the home office - and thats my plan as well. So, if you would choose all over again.. still barcelona?
Heyy!! Definitely I try to reply to all of them! I love seeing them coming haha So I made this video more than a year ago and honestly I feel much more happy about the home/life balance but there is still much more development needed… but this is a very personal thing! If you re less lazy than I am (or awkward) then Barcelona had tons of possibilities to have an interesting life outside your home! I never regretted my move to Barcelona so I would definitely recommend it! You just need to understand that this is “city life” and need to be open to that haha but the life here is great and affordable! (Except rent which is expensive compared to the rest haha) hope this helps! If you move here let’s meet up!! And thanks for the sub!
honestly, it is very simple: If you live in a sunny place, you always feel obligated to do things outside and you feel bad spending time indoors. If you live in a rainy, colder place, it doesn't make you feel bad when you spend some time inside. Working from home only works in rainy places in my opinion, if you live in sunny places, you should always work outdoors ;)
That is 100% accurate hahah I like that conclusion haha
Reading this while I have a remote job in Krakow, Poland hahahah
Hahahaha yep that used to be my life too in Belgium
Where are your new videos?
I have stopped posting for a while but I am working on a series of new videos coming soon!!
you armenian?
Yes!!
Amazing work... I am binging your videos. Hope you come back to youtube
Thank you so much! I really want to… I am working on it! 😇
Really awesome video! Short and sweet, and truly an authentic experience. My girlfriend and I are going in June this year, we're planning on camping. I spent a lot of money to make sure we stay dry. Glad I watched this video to reaffirm that buying the expensive gear wasn't a waste.
Thank you so much!! What kind of gear did tou buy to stay dry? Haha do you mean a tent? ⛺️
@@MoreLife_Aris We bought a Nemo Dagger 2P tent, but for our rain gear I bought Arc'teryx Beta AR jacket and Pants! We don't plan on having access to facilities often so drying wet clothes would be challenging 😅
Hahah good luck!!
Hahaah the problem "it is me" .... I like the content and the video editing.... you gotta meet new people and make new friends
Thank you!!! Yessss I have now and it is already much better!
I never made it where it’s snowing there. unlucky me
You would have to be very lucky haha 😇
Maybe it’s depression
I hope not haha
I loved barcelona now i m sad that i leaved this city
I love it too now!! Hahah
If I'm in a foreign city I use meetups. They can be a hit or miss but usually it's a nice vibe. Maybe invite your coworkers for after work drinks or a game, I love Spain because people are not shy and like to socialise
Yessss some people told me me about meet up but it just feels un natural and forced hahah
Belgian here I used to live in Barcelona for 6 years absolutely love it I the beginning... After the Covid pandemic I knew it was time to go to another chapter of my life after a few months in France (near Montpellier) I decide to come back to Spain but...in Madrid and I definitely love living here. Barcelona lost its soul lost its creativity victim of over exposition and mass tourism. Madrid is more a vibe and now the city is sparkling. Most of my friends also left the city. I still love to come back to Barcelona but if you ask me "should you come back to live there?" the answer is "Definitely not !"
Ohhhh another Belgian!!! Welcome haha is Madrid really that much better?? I have heard a couple of people saying this hahq
@@MoreLife_Aris Yes Madrid is an amazing city. Great food, an amazing nightlife, blue skies, a lot of parks, a lively art scene and friendly local people. The downsides are hot summers and cold winters because of the situation of the city set in the middle of la Sierra and surrounded by mountains but it is clearly manageable and you are just a few hours from Barcelona and Valencia thanos to HST. Barcelona is a gorgeous city but Madrid is a vibe. You should definitely visit it but it is not a kept secret anymore.more and more people are moving to Madrid now and this city is really cosmopolitan.
name of the intro music, many thx plz
Summer Drama by Jawis Fallon 😇
Everybody I know that lives in Barcelona has either moved to the periphery or is in the process of doing so. No local wants to actually live there.
Yeah… that is also true indeed
Your travel tips are invaluable for anyone planning their own journey. Thanks for being such a helpful guide!
My pleasure!! Glad it helps 😇
I agree with you though Barcelona favours a certain type of person. People who are lost and aimless. If you have a strong sense of direction and know how you want to grow I feel you’ll have a hard time finding your people here. Unless your interpretation of growth is holistic “personal development” and meditation or whatever then yeah your “tribe” will be here lol
Wow that is a deep comment haha but yes! I see exactly what you mean!
Can’t even go to bunkers any more
You can but not after a certain time of the day indeed :/
are you still in bcn? i would love to go in a photo walk with yoU!
I am!! 🙌🏼
