Wtf pawn shop clearance
@GibboTheAnimal honestly for me it turned out to not be that useful. Even on a pawn shop clearance lol. I ended up reselling it. If it did torque angle it might have been okay. Just way to big for the automotive world.
reminds me of a date in 2001
Can’t even get his name right
@@waynecato4292 I use AI to write the titles and didn’t even notice Good eye
I fixed it 😉
If you can tell me how to actually play music through Bluetooth from my Android phone to my 2014 GMC Terrain I'll be more than happy to subscribe to your channel.
Connect the Bluetooth and then go back into the settings on your phone and make sure the connection says calls and audio on your phones end then play a song and click the media button on your stereo until it gets to your phone The media button is how you switch between cd, Bluetooth, usb etc
Bone stock engine can chop if you tune it. 🤷♂️
This is true. I believe they call it a ghost cam. You do see a significant amount of top end power out of these cams tho. Especially with a good tune. The performance increase is substantial over stock. Even taking numbers out of the equation…. The drivability is on a whole other level.
@@tunesquadHQ yeah I heard these chopacobras/truck Norris make more than the typical “stage 2” 212/218 cams so hell yeah My stage 2 did very well for a long time
@@tunesquadHQ back in the day a ghost cam was an aftermarket cam that idled very timid and made good power. Now the term got swapped around from chop tune or “lope tune” to ghost cam.
@@JosephNnbs I would say you are more knowledgeable on that then I am brother. I have never done one like that. We do a lot of these cams. Very popular. That Texas speed and BTR. I drive a stock Tahoe with a few slight tune so it don’t feel like dog shit 🤣. Customer seem to really enjoy them.
@@tunesquadHQ the truck Norris and chopacobra are the same cam btw. Just brand preference. The Dino graphs basically overlap within a couple hp. I have a 229 244 in my truck and it’s great
Sad thing is that media calls guns with serial number removed ghost guns, and uses that to manipulate statistics to imply home made guns are used in large numbers of crimes.
Hey! What size rivet did you use?? Not necessarily wanting to pay $8 for one from gm.😂 Thanks
Lmfao man if I knew exactly what size I would tell ya. I got a bunch of them all different sizes and just grabbed one and shoved it in there. Honestly any size that comes with them bull shit rivet gun kits at autozone will work fine. No matter what it will expand In that hole and keep it snug. I'll see if I can't get an exact size for ya.
I was just quoted about $3000 to replace the catalytic converter and motor mounts for my sons 16 Hyundai Accent. The converter intimidates me a bit but I think I can do the mounts myself. Thank you for the video!
Mount is super easy and if you get a direct fit converter it’s pretty easy as well. Just need a block of wood and jack for mount. Put jack with a pice of wood on it under oil pan as to not damage or dent oil pan Jack it up until you see the mount lifting up a bit and then unbolt mount and install new one Lower jack and you done. Cats are easy if they are bolt on.
Thank you!
stock motor and a cam?or did you have to put new springs and rods?
I have done them both ways with success. Lot of people do cams without springs. Just depends on how aggressive the cam is and the condition of the top end.
Side note if it's a AFM truck it's not a good idea. All the non afm trucks I have done on stock springs are still going strong months and years later. So yes you can leave springs stock if it's a small to mild cam and in decent mechanical condition. Obviously you would just have to use good judgment. We Swap cams and do valve spring with heads still on truck. You can do springs with a leak down teat from harbor freight and a air compressor. Simply fill the cylinder with compressed air, this will hold the valve up when you remover retainer and alow you to swap spring without removing heads.
When you say gen 2 is that referring to small block chevy or the ecu?
Like a 94-97 LT1 LT4 PCM
Great Video! Simple and to the point thanx 👍🏾
Nice laptop's man
Appreciate that. My big nice one decided to stop reading my tuning device in the middle of a tune one day 😂. So I had to jump on Facebook marketplace and pick up the surface pro. If you ever in the market for the one to use in the automotive field I would stay away from the surface pro. Screen is glass and everything on it is a magnet. No good for car life. Shit will stuck to the keyboard port and when you shut the flap it will wedge whatever it picks up between keyboard and screen and crack that mofo lol. I like using the gaming rigs, normally got plenty of power and long charging cables. Plenty of space etc.
Don't double tap... little or big. U can easily over torque
I did it for the KZread 😅
Happy to see when people use torque wrenches 🔧 even when they don’t always follow spec 😂
This is a satire video here but I really did torque to spec lmao I know it looks like I was going hard but 18ft ponds or 24nm I believe is spec on them intake bolts 😅
1 uggu dugga on a weak battery is pleny
That might be how I live my life lmao and this might be satire 😅

That thing is nice with the arms like that
I have grown to love it. Other companies have made them for a long time almost like this but this thing is tits McGee
@@tunesquadHQ I use my Mac puller set a lot. I had the master puller set from snap on. I ended up selling it to a buddy of mine. It had no case just a thin plastic tray with no lid. I wanna get the one you just showed too.
@@reekz1568 $59 at Autozone man. Can’t beat it. I got some other nice ones too but I been using this for everything. GM Ford etc It’s been awesome for the money

Seven_deuce Thanks for the tip boss 👍
Anytime. I don’t know how helpful this one was lol but I’m out here trying to make better content and do good work. Appreciate you.
Good tip! I use Mineral Spirits, a lot cheaper than lubes, and evaporates after use.
Great tip! Thank you
Keeping it 💯

I have to do this soon. Fun stuff
Seems as if the dowel or pin is sheared off between the CVVT and cam
I’m not as familiar with the Hyundai as I am other vehicles, but in this case, it was actually the lockout in the VVT assembly. It has about 20° of play before it locks and rotates. We took the cams out and stripped the head down in the process of doing a valve job on it, etc., and there was no damage to the pin. Just VVT assembly itself. Personally, I have done maybe 15 or so timing jobs on these 1.8 and 2.0 Hyundai motors and have yet to come across a broken pin but have had many instances of the VVT assembly failure. I am definitely not an expert on them and don’t want to appear. You might know better than me.
That's will kill your valves
Correct
Is that the G4FJ the 1.6 turbo ?
No this is the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine
Nice tattoo man I got a p0118 and p3400 together. You think one is related to the other or go independent on both?
While I don't mind this technique and use it I've actually made what is now known as the "pool cue" in the shop from recycling a few notches from the scrap pipe pile, few nuts, bolts and a few sections of rebar Welded a low tensile nail tip into the centre to push, low tensile so it breaks before the nut/bolt but we just do a few tac welds and file a point now and it's fine Can you tell I'm scared to break a customers bolt with a chisel lol
I understand that lol I was working for a used car dealer on this one and we know how that goes sometimes. So they were just trying to run the car back through the auction without taking a major loss.
Cool, thanks
You didn’t need to hit it tho, if the socket fits why not use it for it’s intended purpose🤦♂️🤦♂️
It was starring to strip the Torx. They are not notoriously strong.
I’ve got that same light and hammer, Both of them great tools
Use them with care lol as someone else pointed out I nicked the AC line 😒 Thankfully not very hard, use with caution lol. The lights are bright as hell. They got so hot they burn up the plastic lens cover. My only gripe with it. Other then remembering to charge them things 😅
Great song for cleaning fuel injectors😂
Lmao it really hits home when working on cars
A little harder and you would have refrigerant leaking everywhere.
Close call 😅 Tight spot Thankfully alls well that ends well. Note be super careful you don’t hit shit you ain’t trying to hit. I did not even see that spot until you pointed it out, think being dirty aluminum really makes the clean aluminum shine.
forgot to flush the injectors..
It’s a 60 second short. Made for the people just trying to get their own ride back on the road. We understand there is a “by the book” way and there is also a “it will work just fine” way. It would also depend on why you are servicing them. If someone is on a budget doing it DIY and just had a leaking injector o-ring, this video would get them back on the road safely, efficiently and only cost them $10. Note we didn’t forget to flush them, we just had 60 seconds to help someone. The original video is 20 minutes. We wanted to make it as short and to the point as possible. Majority of people watching are not going to have the necessary tools or equipment to flush or flow test them. So in this situation found it not necessary to include. We can make a short on flushing and flow testing next. Thanks for the input.
This everyone is a great example of someone who no longer has a job
Still out here working everyday. With great reviews, great customers. Been doing things like this for almost 20 years. Sure there are more ideal ways to do it, if you want to spend big money or have access to a loaded down shop etc. On this channel we are realistic. There is always a better method but for our audience (The DIY guy wanting to fix their own stuff) this method is common practice is the automotive industry.
Colby is a perfect example of a kid grown up with a helicopter parent, not exposed to the world. I bet your parents ask for your pronouns and tell you it's okay that you've never had a job at 21 years old if this is your attitude. Colby, you need to learn people use insults that would only hurt them personally so I guarantee you you've probably lost your job recently and probably relied on on your parents or you have never had one because you are a neet with no value to society.
Nice video bro
Great video Love you got multiple angles on there
