Dear fellow gentiles... Do you know that your baptism doesn't equal salvation? Now, could a mature Christian live happily and peacefully with this tension? Regarding each other as more significant than himself till the day Jesus comes revealing all things for His glory? Yes, we certainly can...😌

Simply the most foreign doctrine too the Bible. “Infant Baptism” is no where in the Bible. That go ye out baptism is a picture of the baptism John the Baptist preach the baptism with holy fire, then baptism by immersion/picture of salvation. Please don’t trust baptism for your eternity. They only baptism that will save you and get you to heaven is baptism through the Holy Ghost confessing that you’re a sinner before God.

Whoever rejects the content of the term “common grace” hasn’t really read his Confessions or reformed authors. Not every term has to do with soteriology. Disagree with the term, change it, but not with the content.

55:00 Did he really say Leviticus 18: 22 and 20: 13 are most likely part of the “ceremonial law”?? And did he claim earlier that the prohibitions against homosexuality were mostly about pederasty, conquest (as in humiliating an enemy), having sex with a slave, or temple prostitution? Then why does Lev 20: 13 say: “ 13“ ‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, 👉👉both of them👈👈 have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” And Romans 1:26-27 says “Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.” In both passages it is crystal clear these homosexual relationships are MUTUALLY CONSENTING. Also the punishments are meted out to BOTH participants. If this is about pederasty or slavery or exploitation why would the VICTIM also be punished??? They wouldn’t. Schreiber’s arguments defy the clear revelation of Scripture.

The company I work for had the same thing happen. The former CEO ruined the company and then hired consultants to persuade a potential buyer that the company was worth way more than it actually was. The company sold and he received a huge payout. He quickly retired, leaving the company in shambles. It's a joke.

A stark warning for mothers and fathers who advocate abortion!!!!! Luke 18:6-8 King James Version (KJV) And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? My ex partner made her mind up that abortion was in her best self interest withoutmy input, I wanted the babe! Praise the Most High for this baby's conception, and may that life take precedence in the kingdom to come more so than the evil mind that bares the babe. I ask God to forgive those that seek to confide in their own heart for lack of understanding of truth and whom their creator is. It is they whom justify it because the world accepts both the individuals evil heart and sense of self-worth. Friends, even though we come into this world, we also shall go out of this world. Heed me reader. Seek thou the kingdom of God and thou shall be saved. May God have mercy upon our souls, for so great is the burden that Jesus paid the price by carrying it. Sin, did he pay the price for. Thanks to The Most High for loving me first, for he knew me before I knew him. KJV Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Counseling from a Calvinistic perspective ACBC Counseling nearly destroyed me. There is more historical perspective than represented here on John Calvin, who he was and what he believed. If you are thinking about biblical counseling due to abuse of any kind, I advise caution as it could cause greater harm. I am a believer, eventually received compassionate help from a church and never stopped trusting God. ACBC counseling questioned my salvation, repeatedly stated I wasn't trusting God and even questioned that I may not be elect. The counseling used my vulnerability against me, the counseling was weaponized against me. Churches that offer biblical counseling, some might be good but that was not my experience. It is used to gather information about people so that power and control can be used over them. I left my entire church community over it after being there almost 3 decades. I completely regret biblical counseling.

I find it odd a conservative university would hold a conference like this. On the search for truth, and have Rev. Ryan Schreiber sit there and elude to someone’s personal truth over Gods truth. You go on ahead and look at difficult passages and the surrounding context all you want. What you will not find out of 31k verses is one supportive, affirmative verse for homosexuality. This is not a difficult position to understand. It is clear where the Lord stands on this topic.

Nine years it took for the first writings of the apostle paul. What were the rest of the apostles doing during that time. i introduce the concept of chiasmus to your discussion and numeralogy. Then following this then if one looks at the contents page starting from revelation to Jude from then there is a backwards ordering of the epistles. Noting what is clearly stated in jude of the contents in human sense. Then it follows that there was a great falling away or a supernatural occcurence happened. Taking also into account the first two chapters of romans then it follows what is too dark to tell here. Who are you guys to speak with apostolic tones?

Bavinck's 4 volume Reformed Dogmatics is still the gold standard of all Christian Systematic Theologies every produced. However I understand this single-volume systematic theology represents Bavinck’s own distillation of his four-volume magnum opus. 110 years after its original publication, "The Wonderful Works of God" remains one of the finest single-volume systematic theologies ever written. 💯

To be baptized, a person must have awareness of his sins and his need for a Savior, repenting of his actions (Acts 2:36-38; Rom. 3:23; 6:23). He must hear the word of God (Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 1:16; 10:14-17) and believe its testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God (John 20:30-31, Mark 16:16) who died on the cross and was raised from the dead to provide redemption for mankind (John 3:16; Rom. 5:6-10). He must confess this belief publicly (Rom. 10:9, Acts 8:26-40). A baby is incapable of doing these things. A baby taken by his parents to be baptized is not a Christian baby, just a wet baby. An actual baptism has not occurred. Baptizing a baby with the notion of making it a child of God reduces baptism to nothing more than a work. Mere works absent of faith cannot save. Moreover, it is a work performed on an individual by a third party, without his consent, or even his knowledge.

Haha. Yeah. I know. I responded directly to your own question. ??? I know it was a short answer but I definitely didn’t stray from the subject of baptism. Infant baptism is baptism. Earlier you quoted Acts 2:38. Awesome! That’s a great verse telling us about baptism… And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Every one of you? Peter is telling them that baptism is for everyone. For the forgiveness of sins? Yes. Being baptized delivers forgiveness. Who needs that? We all do. We are all born sinners. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? Wow! Peter tells us we get the gift of the Holy Spirit in baptism. No way is baptism man’s work. Keep reading Acts 2:39… For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” It’s for who? You, your children and all who are far off? Peter again tells us that Gods promise in baptism is for everyone! When you look at baptism as man’s work, it’s hard to make sense of it as anything other than some act of obedience. I’ve been there. After all, we are saved by faith, right?! But where does our faith come from? From Christ himself. The gift and promise of baptism is not contingent on our faith, our knowledge, our age, our reasoning or understanding, nor anything else we can do. Baptism is not us worthily coming to God. Baptism is Christ’s grace coming to us, strengthening our faith and giving us new life. (Rom 6:4)

Thanks for those convoluted guesses. That tortuous explanation shows that equating circumcision with baptism is plausible only to those who are already committed to a reformed ideology. There is no clear teaching in the entire NT encouraging the baptism of infants and not a single _example_ of an infant baptism. Amazing!
