The emergency alarm why is that the alarm its so scary
the fact now that the talkback voice is to the right of the speaker is something else.
that is, when recording videos.
Yeeeeeeeeee-haaaaaaaawwwww!
how do you make it switch between languages? Does it do it automaticly?
Yes, it does. You just have to write in the language of choice.
@@TheOnjLouisI doubt it will even work in chinese, though!
oh, and your voice didn't have that much emphasis on woohoo! their
and that's what you call a water drop lol!
I wonder if you can do the same thing with the samsung tune so that we can relive those memories like its 2006 lol!
*you* can, I didn't own any Samsung phone, so I have zero association or nostalgia for one. They also didn't have a screen-reader, so wouldn't and couldn't have used one either way. I do now have a Galaxy S10e with Android 12 which is my multimedia player that I enjoy a lot, but I use iOS as a primary device.
@@TheOnjLouis and speaking of devices not having any screenreaders, did that essentially mean, that if there were devices like the packmate that ran windows mobile 6.0 or the like, did that mean that the windows ce devices like the braille note apex that had there own screen reader, but then those os's didn't even have narrator built into the os before windows phone 8.1 and earlier?? Now this is too confusing! Oh. And if your wondering, I think the braille note apex and mpower had the windows CE 1.0 os. Why did they chose a completely outdated version of windows mobile?
@@kemiastandwithukraine3492 who knows?
@@TheOnjLouisand there were some phones with Symbian os with the talks screen reader, but I don't think it came preinstalled. That's almost like how if you went through the accessibility settings of the ubuntu touch phones you get no orca screen reader like on those ubuntu pcs obviously running linux. Lol!
very nostalgic, eh? The phonetones archive has sure been updated with those devices alongside samsung and lg and so on and so forth!
delete the trash? That's like deleting the stuff from the recently deleted folder on an iphone, android, or pc, in otherwords, empting the trash, or emptying the recycle bin. But if you sent the recycle bin to the recycle bin!!... that would be something
Did you even pay for the Kate voice in your android when using the vocalizer tts or did you download the entire voice pack with the app from blind help project?
Paid for, via the Google Play Store, thanks for asking.
Good stuff.😎
Aww, they replaced the voice. "... indicating a site incident has been declared with off-site consequences" will live forever in my heart.

This is beautiful! Your use of polyrhythms and choice of scales sound sublime on this instrument. 🤩
The thing is, if you turn that into an actual piece, it would be pretty decent. I like that, it’s got summery vibes.Quite nice to hear this when the birds are just waking up at 6:30 in the morning.
Good name for a nice relaxing track! Father/daughter teamwork always wins. Great work the both of you, even though I can't see the artwork. Guess next thing is to have noodles on a menu and play this while eating them :)
Can listen to this all day long! So beautiful!
Very tasty noodles
That keyboard riff SLAPS! Awesome
Bring it on mate! What a fun jam!!!
The spontaneity of that ending... 😂 good work! 😊
Absolutely fantastic. Better than most if not all drummers I’ve played with!
I just upgraded to a Mac M1 running Sonoma, and am no longer able to get Net Send working (receiving on an older Mac and OSX). Is it still working for everyone on newer Macs?
I no longer have two Mac’s to try it out on, but the next time I’m with a friend I will try it. I was able to get it working on the same Mac in the same Logic session, but obviously it needs to be tested between more than one machine.
Hello, I cannot click with VOCR 2, what could be the reason?
No idea, if you could click with the previous version. Since VoiceOver is responsible for allowing you to do VO Shift Space, it sounds like a VoiceOver issue, not a VOCR issue.
okay, this sounds great! 😍
The much improved piano sounds are great news! I’m setting up my studio, and was expecting to use my old Yahaha MO8 for piano, since I never loved the Logic X pianos, but now I know that I will be happy with the Logic pianos, since the update.
As you wrote this comment, I was literally playing the Studio Grand default preset. I’ve sent clients tracks with it, I’ve recently rehearsed with it, I have a gig next week and I’ll be using it there, I just replaced the default piano in my template with it. That’s how much I personally like it. Takes a lot for me to change the first sound I hear when I load Logic.
@@TheOnjLouis that’s awesome! I will be trying them out myself for the first time tomorrow. Thank you for the demonstration! Inspiring stuff!
Amazing
Where can I get these vocals?
I’m not 100% sure what these are, but might be Zero G Ethera Evi or Gold libraries of some sort, perhaps. It’s been a few years since this recording so I couldn’t swear to it.
@@TheOnjLouis Thats completely fine. thanks for your help tho, love the music ❤️❤️
Amazing!!
Awesome Andre!
Your opinion of the Rhodes v8?
First time I heard it, I really disliked it. Had only heard one sound and their browser’s not the most accessible thing there is, so it irritated me. When I got access to the rest of the sounds, I changed my mind and now quite like it actually.
Thank you so much for helping out, I forgot to do the second step and that was my problem, thanks to you and for the blind community we’re helping one another from Orlando, Florida
Ohhh thanks Louis you reminded me this song from Roy Hargrove, gonna listen to it again right now ❤ Your playing is still very inspiring, thanks for that too !
Quick question. Can you do a tutorial on the native instruments a 61 keyboard? Also, can you do some tutorials pertaining to reaper? I think it's a windows only based recording software thing.
1. Already done it, go and find my ‘Native Instruments and Komplete Kontrol’ playlist on this channel. 2. No. I am first and foremost a Logic user, I do not use Reaper.
@@TheOnjLouis all right. Thanks for the help.
I absolutely love it you talented swine! 😉 x
beautiful🥰
Can these piano sounds be used in a different DAW besides logic?
No, in the same way that stock Ableton sounds cannot be used outside Ableton, or ProTools-specific .AAX plugins cannot be used in anything other than ProTools. Every DAW can have their exclusive plugins, and this just happens to be one of them for Logic.
I wonder if there is some sort of way to modify when logic Pro thinks the sustain pedal has been pushed down. I have a keyboard which supports partial paddling, so as soon as I touch the pedal a little bit, all notes are sustained. Sometimes when I release the pedal, logic pro still thinks Notes should be sustained. Do you know how to fix this?
It’s likely that your pedal is still sending CC messages and they haven’t settled at 0, meaning that some sustain is still being applied. You can check this by looking in the MIDI event list. You can use the MIDI modifier (how timely) to change the scale of your pedal so that it’s not quite so reactive perhaps, or maybe there’s a switch somewhere on the pedal itself to switch it out of half-pedal mode. A few options for you, hope one of these will work.
Yeah I’ll see what it shows. My keyboard is a Yamaha DGX 670 which someone got for me. I don’t really use the arranger functions that much, just as a midi controller for logic. I’ll mess around with it and see what I can come up with.
Thenks very much for the great demonstration!
Just go to this guys, love it! Have already set up my API key as well. Gonna play around with this soon! :)
Hmm, if I sneak into the professor’s office, swap his Mac out for a Surface and block the Apple Store, do you reckon he’d make this for Windows?
I’ve wondered that myself, but with windows 11 becoming an AI-infested pile, I’d be more worried about ‘all your data are belong to Recall’ than anything else. It’s also possible on a more serious note, that Be My AI may get such features in a future update. They released heir app a day before this went live, so Tuesday May 21, and it’s quite rudimentary at the moment but I’m sure that’s just a matter of time. Whether it can act as a windows-style VOCR replacement remains to be seen.
@@TheOnjLouis Fair points. Ok, he gets to keep his Mac. There's still something in the way of me switching though. How about if I make his Command and F5 keys so sticky he never wants to press them, do you think he'd port NVDA?
@@ScottChesworth You know what? I double-dare you to do it. Just make sure to record the reaction lol
You cover travel and one of those Zoom Essential doodahs, I'll make mischief.
How accessible is key scape on the Mac? I was thinking about getting it, but didn’t wanna waste money on an accessible plug-ins. I know I could use VOCR, but I would much rather have an accessible plug-in then have to use VOCR.
I use it via Komplete Kontrol. It's either that or VOCR to be honest. You can't see any of the UI without VOCR, and you can't change presets easily even with it, so I just do that via muy Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2. 99% of plugins I use run inside Komplete to be honest, it's the king of an easy workflow in my opinion. I wouldn't own three quarters of the plugins I do if it wasn't for that system.
Hotspots in Sonoma really drive me up the wall. Another thing I use hotspots for sometimes is when downloading files in an app. I set the hotspot to the progress indicator, then do VO command shift then the number to watch that hotspot. VoiceOver normally speaks what’s at the hotspot location every five seconds. In Sonoma, if I have saved a hotspot at one location, and without changing anything on the screen, or changing the location of the VO cursor, or moving the mouse, etc., the hotspot would jump me to the most random places. for example, I sometimes set hotspots to my favorite loops in the loop browser win looking in different packs and or searches I have made in the browser. In every update besides Sonoma, I could scroll all the way up and down the list, then win I wanted to jump back to one I have selected, I would activate the hotspot. normally, I would then be placed on the loop for me to add to the project. In Sonoma, it would more likely then not, jump me to a completely random loop that’s not the one what I asked for. Then, when at that random loop, I press the hotspot again, it jumps me to a different random loop. Pressing a third time will jump back to the first random loop that was selected, both of which were not the loop I had originally chosen. In some cases after going back to where I wanted the hotspot to go, I hit the keyboard shortcut again and It said saved. I activated it again, it says saved. It doesn’t actually save though. there have been many times where I have considered downgrading my Mac back to Ventura, but since WWDC is this close, I’m going to wait and see what macOS 15’s betas have to offer. Like you said, let’s hope in a few years, this is ancient history.
This is a great news. Thanks a lot Chi and Andre, of course.
thanks. I'd never updated vocr since I got it. was still on v1.0 hehehe.
Another banger Andre.. I've got a version of VOCR I installed when I upgraded to OS14 a couple weeks ago, but I'm definitely getting this. I'll be insisting the studio puts it on their mac as well
There are just some things in life that have to happen. For me, a system without VOCR is not a true system, so I make it happen whenever I can. I also include it in my teaching for Logic students, as it’s so useful when you come across that annoying, inaccessible app that doesn’t have to be inaccessible, but it is anyway, just to be contrary. This update brings some major new features that the old one didn’t have, and will be a huge box of added tools to anyone’s collection.
Site shelter sounds like poppy playtime music
Thank you so much for your video. Excellent and very much appreciated. Many thanks from Wales. Paul h
Thank you.
Fantastic playing and a great video overall. Thanks!!!!!
Thanks so much. I hope it brings as much joy to others as it brings to me. It’s a great piano and long overdue to be honest.
I have Keyscape however it’s such a RAM Hog I’m glad to see Logic stepping their piano game up. Your playing goes without saying. You’re an ANIMAL on piano my man. I’m subscribed now!!
Thanks very much for your kind words, I just love the sound of the thing. Hard not to want to play it like mad haha
Wow, you lucky sod. You should have uploaded the whole thing mate, including all the instruction you got leading up to the actual drive. Would make an interesting video. You might have got a lot of views.
Can’t. I filmed this on Meta Smart glasses and they record for 60 seconds each. I filmed at what I thought were key points of the drive. The rest of the time I was focusing.
