  Nice job with the pump but that fluid was dirty. It would be best to change the filter while you have the fluid out. Clean fluid won't help if it can't get through the filter.

  from what i had understood, heat and sunlight is a factor. and i suspect it only works on some older car paints. modern waxing and topcoats may resist it.

  How do you get the old one on the front off? I have a replacement that I ordered from eBay. Some of the old one remains and someone said that I had to take it down to the paint. I have a 2004 New Beetle.

  My door panel did not fit on over this adapter, I even tried installing the otherside down with no luck... On the driver's side the gas door and trunk release module is in the way.. did anyone find a work around for this?

  I friggin HATE those things. They are the most aggressive bug I’ve ever witnessed and they are relentless. This works, but I’m partial to using a grill lighter and a can of starting fluid.
