    I'm sorry . This list is all about the modern era. The game today is nothing like the game in the 80's and 90's. Everyone tries the play the outside game . Very little inside play. You can't touch anybody or you get fouled. Plus , the 3 point line just became a thing the year Bird entered the NBA . Bird was shooting 3's and hitting 40 to 50% more then the rest of the leauge . He is the founding member of 50, 40, 90 club. He could hit shots from anywhere . He was a great rebounder in an era where is was more physical. Bird was a good and smart defender . Let's not forget 3 world titles , 3 3 point contest wins and Back to Back to Back MVP's . Birds game would translate to today and he would be a force in the league. I won't take away anything from players that came before Bird. I'm using him as an example . It's not hard to be the greates shooters of all time when all todays game is mid range and distance shooting.

  • @darkwulf2k
    @darkwulf2k6 ай бұрын

    I'd rather see the steelers trade for Justin Fields. Can get him for less capital, and get the type of QB you are talking about. Get a good OC like Klint Kubiak, or some of the others like Zac Robinson from the Rams. Then use first rounder on a LT/RT. Trice when he comes back healthy should pair nicely with Porter on the otherside. Considering in camp, Trice apparently was ballin out better than Porter. Tomlin also already has the extension coming. Giving up that many first rounds is stupid, and doesnt ever pan out. Oh an might be able to get Bo Nix, or Penix late, if you really want to go that route. Will also add they had solid MLB's in Holcombe, Alexander, and Robertson. Problem is they all got hurt. so yes some depth would be nice, but get that in the mid rounds.

    LeBron, James ain't doing nothing that I have not seen Charles Barkley doing his whole career. The only difference is is that Barkley doesn't have any rings and he doesn't have that scoring title. But as far as the athleticism on that court offense and defense LeBron James is not better than Charles Barkley and that's not to say that Charles Barkley sucks. I'm saying that before you get to comparing this man to Michael Jordan, you have to make the comparison with him against Charles Barkley. First, we're talking about domination on the court

  • @gregoryyarbrough7765
    @gregoryyarbrough77657 ай бұрын

    Stop talking about. He does so much more on the floor man. That man does not show up for basketball games. Although he is standing on the court. Y'all boys sucks. Stop trying to lie to people. We have looked at the footage. We don't need y'all to try to commentate and lie to us. We know that man is not the best. He's not second best or third best or fourth. Best he might can get fifth and that's only because he's broken the scoring title. But if Michael Jordan sat back and just didn't play games didn't show up. Didn't play defense all night long. Didn't play offense all night long. He playing defense and offense all night long. Every game he's playing almost every minute. I think he's missed the most minutes. He's missed is close to like three or four if that that is insane. Longevity that is insane endurance and all of that after he done played 36 holes of golf and a drink at least 24 beers by himself and shots of liquor and then go to the game and drop 55 on somebody head like it's nothing. I don't know what where y'all live in. I don't know what world you live in but anytime I got a player that does what Michael Jordan does or did or has done. I'm not going to be easily shaking by some newcomer with a bunch of fancy hype. A whole lot of crying to the referees and missing games and not to mention that he goes to the championships and he does not win the championship. See there's a difference between going to the finals and winning the finals man. We got to stop this second best thing that people got going this old. You get a trophy just cuz you're tried. No man there is winning and there is losing the head coach for the Jets said at the best. Hello! You play the game to win people not become runner-up you play the game to win!

    Sorry with your fake metrics, so sorry because your metrics and their designer did not asset or evaluate the characteristics and the context of each player and shoot. For instance if I was on the shoes of NBA Coach team and I need to made the last move with only 5-19 seconds with 2 point behind in the score and I have on hand MJ, Larry Bird, Stephen Curry🎉, Drazen Petrovic, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen and Toni Kukoc. Y'know who was my best potion? Well, would choose in that order to Larry Bird, MJ or Drazen Petrovic, Reggie Miller or Ray Allen. I saw many years ago how Stephen Curry fail in the NBA 2019-20 against Toronto Raptor in the sixth game he missed the last three-point shot and on and on and on.. I'm a fan of warriors however I'm not a blind spectator if not I know about basketball and a Data Analytics being the statistic a science of data that can be misundertand by many so-called talk show on social media. In my humble opinion in critics situation Larry Bird was a real sniper, a hunter with cold blood in the same way MJ was a sniper under pressure in fourth quarters he's gonna kill you, Drazen Petrovic was other beast with the same firm: Kill the rival with 3-point shot, the same mentality had Reggie, Ray and Toni Kukoc. Finally this year with 35 years old, finally Stephen began to show the mentality of Clutch being this opinion about the Ckutcher, the most valuable and lethal NBA's sniper or three point shooter capable to shot the target with only 5-10 secs. Neither quantity nor global average it is about getting the last winner shot for his team

    Top 5 shooters (in n o particular order): 1. Jerry West 2. Steve Nash 3. Steph Curry 4. Larry Bird 5. Ray Allen I included Bird and Nash because Bird shot 90/50/40 twice and Nash accomplished those numbers in a season 4 times. Bird also shot those percentages over a 5 year span. Curry is the greatest deep shooter of all-time, Jerry West was an amazing shooter that played during the pre-3 era. Ray Allen was just a great shooter period and shot 40% from 3 for his career.

    Missing criteria, clutch shot when the game is on the line! Having 3 point being part of the criteria automatically lessens older players. Today's NBA plays next to no defense so of course someone like Curry has a higher shooting %. As soon as you said Larry Bird misses the list you automatically tell me you have no idea what you are talking about! Video stopped and did not watch the rest! Pistol should be number one on this list regardless of era!

    Wow - could you imagine how it would be if three of these players were on the same team? That team would probably go to the finals 3 straight years and, barring massive injuries, would win 3 straight titles.

  • @blackyodaprime
    @blackyodaprime7 ай бұрын

    The players in the second group can score, but are relative poor shooters outside of 3 feet. It gets worse when you move into the Lebron era. They have an extremely limited skill set in an era where defense has almost becime an afterthought. When they are young, they can travel and charge to the rim and dunk. Injury and age makes that harder. So now we have Lebron doing charge(d) attack layups. If it isn't the result of him not getting back on defense and turning that into a fast break layup, he'll hit 40-45 percent. Given the number of attempts he takes and ref assistance, 20+ points is almost a given. His team will suffer though because they have to run everything through a man who should've retired after he won in Cleveland. Ironically, his case for Goat status would've been stronger without the Disney Bubble chip, NBA sippy cup and all the self-aggrandizement. As it stands, he'll have a high volume of shots and get a bunch of low quality points at the cost of those around him developing into a far better team that you see glinpses of when he hasn't played this year.
