Justin Bieber does it better
I cannot recall ever having see a musical epileptic fit... I hope Glenn got some meds for that.
😂 ich bin alt....aber die guten Zeiten sind noch lange nicht vorbei 😂❤❤❤❤❤
Omg is that Steve Walsh on keyboards?! I think it’s Steve!
1983 was indeed the era of short shorts. Glenn is still great today, in 2024. Better, in fact.
Glenn was so into spreading his message of music that he would play wherever he might find an audience…even a Thursday night in Elberton in a bar that might’ve had a capacity of 70. Know what? He rocked that place!! Thanks for sharing this performance. I’d love to see Oh Ok.
She rocks! And she plays an instrument and sings. May she rest in peace! "Roll me baby, roll me like a wagon wheel!" I wish I could have gone to one of her performances!
I am an admirer of women in the Blues. This lady is an unsung hero and quite ingenious! My first love was Bessie Smith!
Say it again mama ❤
I saw these guys play at a wedding when they were called Emergency Broadcast. saw them open for REM at a little bar behind the the Strand Theatre in Marietta. Gilbert fell off a roof and broke his neck and Jeff is dead. Fuck I wish I could turn back the clock
Deepest respect to a fantasitc blues performer. Love

Wow! My hometown
Does anyone else remember them playing a then-unreleased version of Vista from the Flip-Flop album at this show? Part of the lyrics from the song were from a song I learned at a 4H camp in Virginia in like 1980 or so. I sang along to those lyrics and my friends were like "how do you know the lyrics?"
i want to go buy me a guitar thats on my bucket list
First time I saw them they were playing a wedding. They went by Emergency Broadcast at the time and because of legalities Guadalcanal became their new name.

I'm 55 and I'm about to be on stage too one day. Starting classes soon my dear
Beautiful.....
"Poor Michael" indeed! He had the best intentions, going to Papua New Guinea as an anthropologist to learn about the native tribes. It didn't work out as he planned, sadly. MrBallen has an interesting episode telling Michael Rockefeller's story; what is known and speculated anyway. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gYF22tqvlJmaoc4.html
Gem of a song, gold mine of a band.
I wonder how many other great eighties singer-songwriters like that there are, who consistently came up with two or three really good songs a year and still did that after they got dropped, but never got their music heard after that.
JIMMY HENDRIX, AND A FEW OTHERS GRAND MOTHER
