just answering this question, but I believe this was performed at Barrington High School in Illinois because they come to my school every year and perform for us. It is Giordano Dance Chicago.

Too bad they fail to mention the impact of Katherine Dunham on the field - as one who trained so many of those considered to be the originators of the technique. Or that we don't realize that most of the early innovation came from African heritage people - from the Charleston on Broadway and tap dance.

All I can say is OH MY GOSH!!! I swear, I was basically freaking out the whole time I was watching this. It was just so breathtaking! I really want to learn more dance similar to this, it's just so spectacular.
