I was watching another channels where a guys nuys cara to restore and found a 1950 Bel air that sat 20 years. It was in horrible condition to say the least so I began a search for a restore version and found your car. It's beautiful. Great job restoring that beauty.

I personally don't think he got on it all the way from the start. It would burn more rubber. Probably had a posi traction rear end. That's probably the reason. More grip.

Great ride, Super Duty 421's and later SD 455's are very special motors. The SD 455 was practically hand built race motor with only 252 copies made in 1973 for the Trans Am and Firebird Formulas!

Faked the HP ratings or maybe measured differently with different equipment? Or maybe most likely, some of both, faking and equipment/standards. I am no gearhead, barely even a shadetree mech, so please forgive my ignorance.

One day when I was about 15, I decided to take the carburetor apart on my dad's 1961 Bonneville to clean it. Little steel balls and a spring or two came out on the floor. I thought I might not get this thing back together right for a while. I was sweating for a little while. I haven't been afraid to tackle any carburetor since. The carb was a Carter I think. I loved that car. I still think it is the most beautiful car ever. It was fast too. 4 speed automatic.

Lovely car. "Rust free" should only be taken as a claim. Not a guarantee. Although I suppose it could mean that the rust is free i.e. there is no charge for it.
