pleeease i want one 😭😭😭
I wanna drive this!!!!
This is the 3.6 or 3.2?
I have a 1965 built in November one month before I was born. Owned it since 2009. Titled as a 66'. I've rebuilt, replace the engine, removed 4 layers of paint, no interior yet, just seats, and steering wheel 😂... I have wanted to take her on a journey to Louisiana. Afraid to leave her over night. 2 two times parole have tried to steal her.. guess I have to sleep in her.. thank you for sharing.. inspiring, love it..
Road trip in a 912e, count me in!
I saw a FF-1 wagon in a junkyard a few years ago and was fascinated because I’d never seen a Subaru like that before. It was such an interesting little car. Too bad it had been sitting outside for many years and was completely rusted out.
She’s a beauty Doc great to meet you today 6/8/24
5:05 This guy shifted like 18 times in 20 seconds. 😅
Cayenne steering wheels have to be the ugliest steering wheels ever made. And that's right where you sit, you have to see it all the time.
Good show Subie girl. I own Ed and Anita Parsils van and a 1970 360 Yacht. Google Subaru 360 Yacht and you'll see my pea green car, some with my van at car shows.
Mannn. I want 😥
but you can't haz!
Stupenda 😍
don't challenge any Honda civics
Most modern cars would blow the doors off an old 911, but how much does that matter?
@@carsunknown it's like being hot for an old lady because you saw a picture from 60 years ago. the past is dead
@@NoPrivateProperty Uhmm, but this old lady still looks and performs even better than she did 60 years ago.
Great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching! Please share so we can keep making more.
The 900 series guy
Tony!
well done!
Thanks for watching! Let us know what car we should do next.
I think the reaction to driving it is a definite bit overkill. I had a 993 C4S manual and I didn't squeal like that. I've had various older vintage Ferraris, many Corvettes of all vintages, etc and while older Porsches are certainly cool, it doesn't provoke this level of emotion.
Ah c’mon… a little hyperbole for KZread car nerds is ok! But, I agree that a car seldom elicits that amount of raw elation. But maybe it’s genuine, who knows.
Never forget these type of clips are heavily scripted.
😎👍
Love my '67 Porsche as well!!! My favorite car!!!
You're better than everyone too!
Not going to lie, I kinda love Romi's juvenile, bordering on methamphetamine-abuse-degree of enthusiasm about the car. Keep it up guys, love the features.
You summed up his brand well.
The ending was the best. Fab cars, an old Rastafarian has one where I also keep my Aircooled. Had his since 1976. Still loves his own as well. 👌🏿
We lose a lot of equipment making these videos.
I had a rare Porsche BergSpyder race car #906-004 looks kinda like an Elva Porsche (13 of) mid engined at times had an 8-cyl. engine and when sold to a friend of mine it had a 901 6-cyl. engine. The car was the werkes entry for the '65 Euro. HillClimb Championship driven by Gerhard Mitter. Won several events & scored the most points but in those days only a few BEST finishes were counted so came 2nd by a single point! The car had a 904 reinforced chassis & 906 serial number. Have many pics won many vintage races in the car #60 GP white.
Couldn't agree more, great video! I found my 912E in northern California a few years back and drove it 3,900 trouble free miles home to Florida. It was an incredible experience from the Redwoods, to the Bonneville Salt flats and finally carving up the Dragons Tail in the Smokey Mountains before ending up at my home in South Florida. Every time I tell this story to a guy at Cars & Coffee with a beautiful early 911garage queen, I sense that they look at my car with a new found appreciation afterwards. CHEERS
They wish they were you.
So nice ❤ 👍🏼
Legend Subaru 360 1958yr before 1970 mini furgon Subaru360

👍😎
U should restore it back to its glory and keep it its a classic that’s hard to get nowadays
My Favorite 😂
You ALMOST had me! Brilliant!
So curious what the glare off camera was at 7:19? Looks like he was zinging someone on set with that final line.
It bottles the mind.
Great german translation, the *thing is out of the box. Porsche Kübel.
...nicely played sir...nicely played.
You are a genius … ha ha. This video couldn’t be released tomorrow, I’m guessing 😜
Outstanding build quality.
Right? Have you ever seen one of his cars in person?
Dave not only knows how to build a 911, but he is a good guy.
993 is the pinnacle of Porsche. Not just the last and best of air cooled but also the last hand built car. Then came the new production line and completely new era.
"the sound... it's like sweet nectar!" What??? Talk about mixed metaphors. You guys sound so shallow.
Great man!
Not sure I’d use “ethical” to describe Porsche modifications. It’s a thing you own. That said, it’s increasingly hard to find original classic Porsches, to experience what these were really like. If someone wants a faster, more modern car, there are plenty of them. A modified classic Porsche will get left for dead by any modern Porsche (and many other cars), so best to enjoy it for what it is.
These videos are fuckin amazing
Thanks Kevin!
911s aren't rare or scare enough yet to dissuade the modders. There is a through line at which point modifying Porsches is--financially--a dumb idea. I never thought Rod Emroy's 356es made sense but recent sales of 2nd hand modded cars well over half a mil changed my mind.
It's funny watching the PCA folks on the FB pages get triggered by this one.
If you have the luxury of having time to care about the "ethical concerns" of modifying your car then you're doing okay no matter what you decide.
You're right, unless you add chrome wheels to your Porsche. Then you're the devil.
So it’s not some great story about restoring it. It’s about a dealership cleaning it up to make money off it. Lame.
I took over my dads 993 C4S and wont sell it
Sorry but this is all a bit lame here. As nice as the car is.
love this video. i am the keeper of my late dad's old 1990 yota pickup. long live these old trucks
Thought this was going to be a story of how she kept her Dad's car and drives it to reminisce and make new memories. I get it. It's an expensive car to maintain and restore. Still a shame though. Hope they gave her fair market value for it at least.
I thought the same
