    surely its best to put the detergent on the patio first and let it soak in and do the job properly

    Thanks for this informative video. For anyone wondering what screws go where. The two none self tapping screws are for there handle, The two longer self tapping screws are to secure the wheels and the remaining eight self tapping screws are for everything else.

    🚨 🚨 this man was not using the Patio cleaner attachment correctly. You don’t use it like a vacuum Cleaner you go up and down back-and-forth. You didn’t get a chance to work properly. Poor video video. I did my patio that was just as dirty with no additional liquid and it did a better job than that.

    Thank you for doing this! YES please do more of these tests with more batteries! Also, testing self-discharge over time would be awesome! A similar one with lithium AA would be great.

    Hello My Friend,I just wanted to thank you for this work and The Very Helpful video.Sorry I Have A Question i have xbox controllers and i might buy some of rechargeable batteries what do you recommend for me from these batteries and also the most of the batteries have 1.2v per battery and Microsoft Recommend 1.5v is there any problem to use rechargeable batteries that have 1.2v?

    I’d use the eneloop pros, I have used these in the past on my Xbox controller, the only downside with any rechargeable is that they don’t last as long as the alkalines, you’ll need to recharge them quicker than you would between normal battery swaps. Anyone else have suggestions?

    The reviewer is uneducated. NiMH does not have ‘a key feature of low self-discharge’. Mentioning it in the context of lithium-based AA entering the market makes no sense. Even LSD NiMH self-discharges dramatically faster than lithium or alkaline. There is nothing wrong with EBL either. It had provided constant 1.5V until cut-off its internal dc-dc converter. While NiMH went from 1.5V to 1.0V with 1.2V on average. 1900/1.2*1.5=2375mAh when adjusted voltage, comparable to the Duracell 2415 mAh at the same promised 2500 mAh.

    I've had mine years and it's never let me down. Used once/twice a year for cleaning our patio and it does the job nicely. Wet the slabs and put some cheap bleach on it and spread the bleach. The next day use the T'Race and it does a cracking job.

    You should try using a bit of liquid flux, which makes the desoldering a lot easier. And if your having trouble getting the solder off put a bit more solder on.

    That’s odd you found the patio cleaner head hard to move around.. I’ve just tried my new K5 with the same attachment head and it was super easy to move, it glided over the surface like a hovercraft and cleaned my patio as well as the lance.

    I have the older 2300mAh EBL cells they have a capacity of 2260mAh when discharged at 200mA. I did also notice that my old AAA EBL 800mAh cell have a much better low self discharge compared to the newer EBL 1100mAh AAA cells. I don't think EBL make the cells, they just wrap cells in their branding - hence, the quality is so different between generations.

    EBL batteries are garbage. I bought a multi cell set a while back and over half of them failed within a year. All have since failed. I use smart chargers and analyzers for all of my over 100 rechargeable batteries and EBL Is in my opinion the worst. You are much better off just buying rechargeable energizer batteries which are quite good and fairly inexpensive as are the Amazon batteries.

  • @UQRXD
    @UQRXD6 ай бұрын

    The Eneloop 1900mah I used were not the best. EBL no better, Amazon, Mrbattery and Duracell have lasted the longest. Some are over 5 years old most get charged once every two weeks. They all will vary due to quality control and materials used. Sometimes you just get a few bad ones. I just got the new lithium ones 23.00 for 4 of them, that give you a real 1.5 volts AA type. Some things I have will not run on the 1.2 volts. I am expecting them to out do all the others. No matter they have saved me thousands over the years verses the alkaline one time use battery. So am still ahead.

    There is one battery plant in Japan that makes the best NiMh. That is the FDK plant. If a label states "Made in Japan", they are made at this plant. Eneloop, Fujitsu, Ladda and perhaps others are made there.

    One test I would really, REALLY appreciate, would be a real-life test of rechargeable D-cell batteries. The quality seems to vary dramatically from badly modified AA batteries in wrappers, up to 'claimed' 10,000mAh EBL batteries. D-cell seems to be the forgotten cousin of the battery world...😢

  • @knewideas3860
    @knewideas38608 ай бұрын

    Sorry to say that's not going to be something I'll be doing, I don't really have devices which use D cells and it's not worth it cost wise to invest in all the cells needed. With the income I get from YT it is really not worth it. Google have have killed off a lot of the small channels over the last couple of years. Keep an eye on the project farm channel it maybe something they end up doing, or you could suggest it.

    Rocco has tried them all, and they're all junk. The best are the Tenergy Whites. Their capacity is about 80% of rated, and they'll last about 80 charges. Same story for C's as the D's.

    been using an old smaller and cheaper head discontinued now, far better and quicker on paving than the lance,,,, lance can get slightly more off but has to be used half an inch off of the slab with a spray thats only an inch wide so takes forever ,, try lifting for any wider than that and it does nothing ,,,, i need to get one for my Karcher but i fear all the never ones are a wider diameter and maybe wont work as good ,,,,,,,anybody compared the different sizes???

    From my experience with duracel, ebl, energizer and amazon batteries. The amazon batteries was by far the best over the 2 years iv had them all due to the others I had a few that would not recharge even after my usual tricks so I had to bin a lot of batteries and I haven't had to bin one amazon battery yet , So in the long run the amazon have been by far the best value . I have not tried the lader batteries so can't comment on these though.

    Awesome comparison for NiMH batteries, there are also two famous players on the market: Energizer & Varta. It would be great if you also include them in your review. In my tests also Eneloop Pro, Ladda and Duracell batteries were top performers. All these three brands were made in Japan and rated for 2450, but Duracell batteries are not made in Japan anymore and this is why it didn't catch up in your test (those Japanese Duracell batteries cover is different than new Chinese black/gold). After years of experience I would say the best performing and also most reliable batteries are Eneloop and Eneloop Pro's, I use them heavily in my thirsty cordless tools, camera flash and battery powered kitchen tools :) Thanks for sharing!

    Very dissapointwd about this charger... please help me in order to better understand how to find the total capacity of the battery; it's the value displayed at the end of the charge? or to that value I should add the initial value is displayed when inserting the battery? Thank you so much!

  • @knewideas3860
    @knewideas386010 ай бұрын

    This is complicated. You never see the true capacity, the best you will get is the value after the charge has finished, but this only works if the battery is exhausted when it is inserted.
