No music please
If budget is priority, the the T350 saves you $200 which could be put somewhere else. IMO....I'd put the Powerglide in it. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks, we appreciate the input!😎

No sense doubling up your updates as you won't know which update did what. Have seen a lot of guys do that trying to save time. Very, very frustrating when the results aren't what's expected and you just start changing stuff whilly-nilly. Trying to get the desired results is almost impossible. The mounting panel looks really good. Certainly does the job. Look forward to what's next. Be safe and stay well.
Forget the annoying repetitive music!
I’m thinking of getting a Stratocaster body sprayed with this stuff. What do you think? I’ll be having a professional do it for me.
That would be really cool!
Thanks for the update. Hoping all the upgrade will work great !. Any video of JJ's race you've been to ?.
I haven't gone to one yet this year, there is some coming up I plan on going to.😎
Look forward to seeing her on the track again. Have a good one Scotty 👍🏻🇺🇲
😎
Could do without the loud music in the background. Wanna hear the motor not screaming guitars
Sure! 😎
Don't know enough to advise, but good luck. ❤❤❤
Do you have a link to that epoxy primer? I need it, and all the websites I find are scam websites
If you're gonna do it. You want reliable and consistent. Look forward to see what happens. Be safe and stay well.
That's the key to getting one faster is having some consistency to build off of.
@@SketchysGarage Agree 1000%. Eliminate known variables to make development and improvements easier
I believe fixing the A-arm is already in the list so I say ignition comes first. Can't wait you to rebuild the motor !.
Why you like terds???? Be honest now...
What the chevelle or the motors? 😂😂😂😎
@@SketchysGarage whatever your considering the terd I'm curious?
@@HorsepowerHeadquarters454 My wife came up with the name for the car. It was full of rat and raccoon turds plus it's brown.😂😂
If you're doing a-arms. finish the suspension. Power and performance ar\e good, but you gotta be safe driving the car. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
That's for sure! Safety number one priority.
@@SketchysGarage you wouldn't want to ride in my truck then. Lol
😎.
Sweet Ride‼️Love it Bro🤘 next time slap some go pros on her 👊
For sure! You been doing ok?
The dog seems to love hearing sound of the motor like we do !. Happy to see her back in life again !. 😊
Great to see her back in life again !. Keep on going !. 😊👍
Makes it all worth it Brother! Rock On 👨🏻🏭 Father / Son Working Together and Kicking Asz is PRICELESS !
Yes sir, team work makes the dream work.
A very respectable first few runs. A few more tweaks and you should be able to stay in it all the way. Look forward to seeing more of Turd Mugger. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks, we appreciate you coming along with our journey!
This is exactly what colors im going with on my chevelle. Did you find the gold paint code? How lighter would a champagne look vs this gold i wonder?
Sorry, I forgot to look. I'll check in the morning and see if I can find it. The champagne would look nice too.
Tranny leak. Engine sounds good. Hope it's just a simple seal. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Great Old video. Is the old Chevelle still around? I remember it pulling the front tire off the ground 😁 Have a good one Scotty 👍🏻
Yes sir, we are fixing to start the next phase on car. How have you been?
@@SketchysGarage been doing good hope the same for you. looking forward to seeing the next phase. Have a great weekend 👍🏻
Definitely on a budget so far. Some of those prices are crazy cheap. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Do you recommend a degreaser after sanding rust to bare metal before epoxy primer? If so, any particular degreaser you recommend? Thanks!
I usually just use alcohol for pre and post wipe.
@@SketchysGarage Thank you! Lastly, if I have spot surface rusting all over the vehicle, should I sand the entire vehicle (even the non-rusted sections) down to bare metal or just do the rusted areas only? The car is a 1971 and has one layer of original paint on it.
I would go ahead and sand the whole vehicle down to bare metal then just to be safe.
Good luck. You got some work on your hands, but I'm sure the end product will be worth it. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks! I hope it comes together soon. 😎
Red flag after red flag with this car.
Foreshadowing.
Lovin' the big block. Can't beat big cubes for cheap power. A screamin' SBC would have been cool but a lot more money for sure. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks! It ends up with a few different power plants before it's all said and done.😭😂
"Rust is lighter than carbon fiber !" Looking forward to see her completion !. 😄👍
Great video. But lose the music. Not enough detail youall doing at the front.
hope it runs better than it looks
For sure, she's definitely not a prom queen. 😂😂😂
When hay becomes a soft barrier at a track, you shouldn't go for it
You are so right. A diamond in the rough is usually something you need to really look for, and/or take a chance on. The tear-down is going well. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks, we appreciate it!
Great video. 👍 What kind of base coat is this? I couldn’t make out the brand when you mentioned it. Thanks
It is Diamont Basecoat and Glasurit 460 clear. The color is very gorgeous it has a blue cast to it in off light. Thanks for watching!
Hello Sketchy !, it seems another cool project going on there. Just wondering what happened to your Gremlin project ?.
We have been racing it some. We should have some videos of it coming soon. Thanks for watching!
This is what it looks like if you don't catch the aftermarket quarter panel error and just lay them on. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mmqMr7KqktytisY.html
It would be enough to make you sick for sure.
Bird brothers lost the handicapped race but won the fight…
This isn’t the wreck that killed Nate…!
hmmm glad it was clickbait this time lol
Good luck.❤❤❤👍👍👍
For $6900 budget build I'd say a screamin' small block with a built Powerglide behind it. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Small with 4
Big boy
Sketchy whats good Bro good to see you posting again.. If you're gonna race it. Might as well go big or go home. Id go Big Block with a Glide or th400. One of the Battleaxe Trans, perfect converter, 9 inch rear. Look forward to watching the progress. 😎
That sounds like a solid setup!
And a year later you have small tires on it. Well then
Bad thing is he waited so long he's way behind the curve. At least he would be in my area.
Interesting build. Look forward to hearing the options. Should be able to make some decent $$s off those old-school parts. Be safe and stay well.
Great throw back Thursday. Haven't seen much what's been going on in your shop lately. Have a great weekend brother 👍🏻
I've had alot going on. It's good hearing from you.
