The Siman Brothers Outdoors brand was founded in 2009 by the four brothers and quickly grew with numerous close friends and family joining the adventure. We established ourselves hunting small properties chasing whitetails and eastern gobblers while filming in a true semi live format. Luke, the creator of The Leaky Jon Boat Company has developed a passion for the waterfowl hunting and fishing culture. After many years and many requests our merchandise store is finally open. I'm fired up to see Ohio's small creeks and rivers are clean enough to hold these fish. In the 70s nothing could live in these waters. Love the show.
Yes sir they are stacked in there.
What size tiller do you have and how does she do i have a 1980 starcraft mariner 210
i have a 6hp 4 stroke tiller. It handles well when trolling. It will push the boat 5.5mph under full WOT if i need to get in with it.
Hey sir was wondering what Make and model is your Boat ? TIA
1988 StarCraft Mariner 160, 1988 evinrude 48SPL
I know you have to be selective about the days you go out. But the smaller boat's will haul those walleyes in. Loved watching the show.
Thank you! Yes it’s nice when the water is just perfect!
What area of Lake Erie are you on?
Huron!
@@leakyjonboatco.7419 i fish huron alot my last video i made was out of huron with me n the wife
I’ve done this. LOADS of fun and good eating.
Yes sir! Can’t beat it when your on them!
Take me out sometime 😅😂
I need a bigger boat hahaha I will though!
Hey buddy! Just a few questions what kind of line are you running? Mono, floro? What lb test? Are you using a leader? Love the videos and tight lines my friend!
I’m running 10lb big game mono, no leader! Thanks!!
you just killed 400,000 walleye
Maybe I did. Maybe I didn’t. The catches in the last five years are record high and they are estimating it to just get even better with all these fish being kept.
what brand are the wheels
They’re from Amazon, not sure of the brand
What state is this in, ohio?
Yes! Northeast ohio
new sub good stuff
Thank you!
You should try bleeding them and putting on ice right away less tress on fish my opinion taste better! Great video thoroughly enjoyed watching you catch some nice walleye
Thanks!
Hell yeah man, them small creeks are starting to heat up!
Fruit dot is the name of that bandit you took off.
What size kicker motor are you running?
6hp
Great video, l like your lure box. Please tell me where to get one.
Special mate 8” from fish USA
Thank you
Memancing ikan sangat menyenangkan sekali👍
Nice job, . 10ft water i run 17 ft back. 3 boards one side, 1st rod 100ft bsck, 2nd rod 75ft back, 3rd rod 50ft back. 12pound big game line
No monsters though. Should change the topic to baby walleyes. I fished Lake Erie Sandusky and caught real monsters.
I see fish here, none in your channel David.. pics or it didn’t happen budd
How are you running 3 rods, legally?
There’s a three rod limit on Lake Erie where I’m at!
Nice day, open your bail once the fish is in the net.. I've seen people get hooked
1:32 where did you buy that box ?
Fish USA It’s a special mate 8”
Let's Go! Working the perch over on our end.. Walleye in a few weeks.. Fish On!
I went to Freemont for hours yesterday and didn’t get nothing 😂 Help me mannn 😂
Usually walleye like a certain color on a daily basis If you don’t have that color in your arsenal you ain’t catching fish Been there before
We smashed on shallow bandits not long ago. All the active fish were in the top of the zone
Looks like a beautiful day to be out fishing. I need to get out soon. Love your crankbait storage box!
Thanks 👍
The old sun spot bandit and the husky jerk getting them
my black wonder bread didnt get a hit yesterday. we had sun spot, cheap sunglasses and bumble bee were our hot colors. where do you fish out of? im western basin at turtle creek.

What size boat and kicker do you have? I have a 17ft and thinking of getting a small kicker
16 foot boat with a 6hp Johnson 4 stroke
Jigging more fun right now. You can ALWAYS catch with bandits or P-10.
Yes I agree, but I love the fast limit!
12lb Big Game has a breaking strength of 18lb. Just sayin ✌️🎣 And if you want. Take a look at Big Water Fishing and see what Captain Ross Robertson has to say. His personality can be somewhat abrasive to some people. But he means well. In my opinion. He's the Best Walleye Fisherman Ever. Not even kidding 🤙
Thanks for the info!
Ross is the best Lake Erie fisherman ever, best planner board guy ever. I don’t think he is the best overall walleye fisherman. I fished with him in April 3 years ago and limited out by or before noon everyday. The smallest fish we caught was 21” and the largest was a 30” donkey
If not Ross . Then who is ??? 🤔
@@randymiller5008 look at the top guys in NWT. Ross did not do very good when he fished the pro league. He’s the best on Lake Erie but is just one horse
The Reason why Ross left the Pro Circuit was because of all the Cheating... I don't blame him. Everyone knows it is going on. But still support Tournament Fishing. Personally , I don't support it in any form. And I have no desire to fish anywhere but Erie. I can't speak for Captain Ross. But I do know. Day in and Day out. He's THE MAN on our body of water 🤙🎣 I'd like to fish with him sometime. But I just can't afford it 🤗✌️
I run 30 lbs braid and run in the shallows on Erie and still get my limits easy. Walleye don't care about the line I think them being finicky and scared of the line is a myth when it comes to trolling for them especially when the water is murky like your in. Caught 10 and 12 lbs Walleye and tons of 6 to 8 lbers last year in shallow. Was an amazing year fishing out of Port Maitland on the Canadian side of the pond. Tight lines man
Thanks 👊
Most if not all fish usually only get caught once so I don't think it makes them line shy. If a 11 inch paddle doesn't scare the Salmon away I doubt a visible line will.
THANKS FOR THE TIPS, usually take a trip out there in spring from Scranton
We are terrible at succeeding to get all our fish from jigging. One jigging trip per year since 2015 and never limited purely from jigging. About 11am each year in our jigging trip, we revert to what you did to finish our limit each year.
Sometimes you gotta fill the cooler!
I use a 7.5 ft Rod. It helps with taking the Boards off when your by yourself. I even have em as short as 5ft. ✌️🎣
Good tip!
As long as the shorter rods have the right action. There isn't a problem. Stiff rods I'd shy away from 🤙🎣
How fast are you going?
1.7-2.0, tried 1.5 and didn’t have any take backs. 1.8 seemed to be the sweet spot.
Where where you trolling?
Central basin
NICE WHAT IS THE BRAND AND TYPE OF STICK BAIT BOX IS THAT PLEASE LOOKS ORGANIZED.
Special mate 8”
@@leakyjonboatco.7419 THX JUST ORDERED ONE
Why do ypu shake the fish off vigorously instead of holding the fish and removing the hook????? Pretty violent way to handle fish bud....
I just picked one of these up for $200 with a Motorguide varimax40 2 seats and a set of paddles.
Where were you fishing out of?
Central basin
I wish Ohio would make the legal size from 15 to 21 to many little Fish we need bigger eyes again
what all i caught are 28 inchers lol.
love the video,i been meaning to go out on lake erie out of small boat harbor in buffalo when the season opens with my 14ft boat.any advice?it would be my first time going up to erie, usually troll the finger lakes for trout.thank you great video
I have no advice for that side of the lake. I would say you gotta be very very careful.
What is like to know, being a noob at this type of fishing is: how do you know how much line to let out for your sticks or other lures? How far out on each staggered board? Shallow on the outer? Deep towards boat? How do I reel in a fish without getting everything tangled?
There’s an app you can use called precision trolling and some good ol’ homework on the internet can tell you.
@@leakyjonboatco.7419I got the app and printed out some stuff so should be good.
You don't ever quit 🧐 NO Matter What.... 🎣🤙
I'd rather go down with the Ship than Quit 😅 🎣🤙
How deep of water were you trolling in?
40 fow
How you can switch from right hand reels to left hand reels and not get screwed up is beyond me. I’m sooo right dominant you could chop my left hand off and I could probably still tie my shoes. 😛 PS How deep are those baits running and how deep is the water ?
40fow, running the bandits 100-120 foot back and I honestly have zero problem switching back and forth. For spinning rods it’s 100% LH reel but not for these.
