This amazing! I barely see any modified captain’s chair. This version is also with a medicine ball or medium to heavy dumbbell (no “s” at the end)

do you have to bring the bar down to the floor following each rep for it to be considered a straight leg deadlift, or can you just lower the bar until your back is parallel to the floor?

scrillyto1 yes you do. However the deadlift called the 'Romanian deadlift' is where the movement starts from the top and you bring the weight down to the shins.

Thank you! needed just a simple correct formed sit and stand on step-box. Instead i just see people uploading absurd fancy-dancy leg acrobats on boxes. I train over weight and older folks so i need safe, simple and effect workouts. i use the youtube videos as a visual for them since most of my clients are in many states. Thanks again for the proper, simple effective video visual.
