I got 243k on my 8.1L 02 Silverado 2500hd. I put an 8” lift on mine with 37s. Love this truck it’s a beast.

Shouldn't there be foam at the end of the roof to stop bugs and wind and on the valley? Never seen a roof done like this in my life. Curious to see how it is holding up.

Wow. This looks absolutely horrible. I was thinking about doing my house myself but if it came out looking even remotely as bad as this there is no way. I guess if you are super broke and are just trying to waterproof a house that no one will see it gets the job done. What kind if wood was that? At first I thought they were 2x6's but that doesn't make sense. Must be 1x4's right?

The little holes you mentioned in the water pump are weep holes, so when the bearing fails it will leak and let you know it's time for a new pump. People in comments are whack, you keep doing you. Make it happen.

I don't sorry if I remember correctly I notched 1 1/2 off so it would be flush mounted

Wish I’d seen this earlier. I burned with barrel with reg fire for two days. Then for the ground level root branches, blew air through an old thick muffler pipe angled at the target Had a batt Milwaukee blower with low setting. It incinerated what I needed in an hour.

rain flooded my intake and locked the engine(diesel 2 cyl ford 1600). i turned the engine backwards with a wrench and when water sloshed back i soaked it up with a rag till no more water. engine turned fine and started, but mine was in running condition before the rain.

Did you say you went over 3 layers of shingle??? That's not even legal in my state. It looks good but going over 3 layers of shingle is very concerning. Also that ridge cap is also concerning.

So a couple questions for you. Was that a Wisconsin engine removed? Was the pump driven by the flywheel end of the wisconsin engine? I thought there was some issues with rotation based on which end of engine is used (wisconsin) cw or ccw? Was looking at doing same swap but need this info first. Thx

Orginal engine was a deutz diesel but they did put Wisconsin in alot if them

Mine is flywheel driven wisconsin engine and driven clockwise. Most all engines I find are counter clockwise rotation. Guess I'm rebuilding the dinosaur
