My so-called 90s Band, established in 2016, is a ragtag group of professionals from western Pennsylvania, hellbent on raising the roof in the grandest tradition of bands like Weezer, the Foo Fighters, and those memorable singles by bands with forgettable names. Some call it a party, some call it fun; whatever the name, it’s a damn good time. We humbly invite you into our sacred space of 90s rock and dance tunes where you’ll find yourself instantly remembering the lyrics to No Diggity and what Teen Spirit Smells like.

Here is some fun trivia about this great song of the 90s. I am friends with the lead singer and founder Adam Paskowitz. He and his family lead quite the adventurous lives. Anyhow, one day when we were chatting I asked him how many takes was the lead vocal for this particular song. He said “one bro. And my brothers part only took two.” I told him to stop bullshitting because that’s not possible. ESPECIALLY with the ending chorus and the notes he reaches in it. He said “I’m telling you I got it first take.” I guess it’s true because he was as serious as ever.

Hell yeah. Haters gonna hate. It ain't perfect, but it's more comfortable to play and easier to lug around than a "real" acoustic for those 3+ hour brewery gigs for sure! Not to mention more durable.
