Keep on keep’n on!
Hey Andy. Sorry for my lack of farming knowledge. What are you referring to when you say “headlands”? Thanks! Have a good one!
I don't know why cause I've watched you for 4 or 5 years but so far this year I can see the undulations in your land much better this year.
Another great video!! I am always so impressed how you keep everything thing and every one moving. Great job Andy.
👍👍
So do you spray the alfalfa so it doesn’t grow anymore and the corn comes up through it?
I wouldn't mind seeing a few camera shots of these fields is as the year progresses.
How well is alfalfa dying after spraying it? You might have rainy summer over there to grow corn after alfalfa.
Yeah 321 can be bad at times… I’ve driven it enough with a tractor. I’ve had traffic stretch a mile or 2. Your by your uncles farm… great video Andy
Alex is a amazing driver
what keeps the hay from regrowing with no tilling.
Hi
What the hell do they do with all those hooves anyways? You talked about hoof trimming and my mind wandered off. Edit: I really shouldn't have googled that but, next time you're enjoying anything with beef broth in it, remember this comment.
Alex is doing great in that new beautiful truck. She just goes at it!!!! Great video.
Hey Andy, do you have any trucks with serial numbers close to each other? 2nd question: What will you be getting with that no-till planting?
He has two trucks that are one after the other in serial numbers.
@@beckyumphrey2626 Haha! Yes! He's mentioned it for maybe 3 videos in a row. Andy doesn't get much sleep, especially this time of year.
what did you come up with on the hay head for the chopper
👍
I'm curious: do you evaluate the cost per acre against the yield, or since you are feeding all of your corn, just measure yield between the no til/ tillage acres. Dairy farms definitely work with different measurements.
Are you pushing guidance lines from Operation Center to your mowers, mergers and chopper?
First year using op center and I’m trying record yield data from our grass ground. As well as utilize our auto steer outside of corn ground.
NO- TILL😂😂😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️. Run those same closing wheels can’t think of there names. Thanks ANDY,ROADHOG holding all them folks up!!
First time ever seeing corn no-tilled into a working Alfalfa field ! LOL
It had been sprayed already.
@@beckyumphrey2626 Ahhh Ok !
You made it past Knoxie's
Sometimes it is amazing how you stay up on all your stuff.
Those people that were in the traffic jam can think about that later when they are eating lol
How do you kill off the alfalfa if it is herbicide resistant?

Got it, no till means “ no tilling today “ 😂
You should have a get together with everyone that works on the farm so you can introduce everyone to us
Andrew. . . Is what my grandmother would call an Old Soul. . . He is much wiser than his earthly years. Have you personally performed comparisons performance between no-till corn to land which has received the full treatment? Is your father still involved with planting or has he moved back from he had done in past years. Normally in the past you mentioned your father planting along with you.
The yield loss looks greater with no till. Is the cost savings in fuel worth the yield hit?
Did you guys get the Peterville fixed yet or not haven’t seen it running yet
Awesome camera work in this one!
I'm used to there being music when when playing musical chairs! 🤠
Great job guys thanks so much for the great placement or camera on planter some day I'll stop by I'd love to chat face to face not social media shit good job guys take care & god bless ❤😊
Alex is very good driver with that tractor trailer she had trouble and she got out of it as a good driver 👍🚜
Andy, just curious, do you take soil samples of each field or do you just wing it per say? When I farmed, I took soil samples each and every time I needed to work my fields, saved me a lot of money on what and where stuff was needed. Another great video:)
Excellent!!! Headed up the hill into Lafayette… great video.
Great shots of the no-till planting. Enjoyed and much appreciated. I think I see Alex has her identifier initial on HER truck. Awesome.
I have a question , when I've seen guys do no till they spray the field and kill it and a couple of days weeks they till . Did u spray or just planting it into it then take off and still have hay next year ? Just wondering . Great job being a boss dad
With all the fabricating you and other tubers do, why don't any of you have a piece of 2x2 or 3x3 angle(or plate) on your monitor mount to put your camera on??
I have a metal rail from the front post to the rear post
Another good video Andy Thanks for the video's 🐄 🚜 🇺🇲 👍
Hello! Eager to watch the no-till harvest...
I have to hand it to you. You have had to master several jobs to milk cows. Every farmer has to master more than one but I haven’t seen anyone that can fix, fab, farm and run a dairy as well as I’ve seen you do it. There’s really not much content about the cows but I know you guys deal with them. Maybe more cow content will come as the expansion completes. Good job👍
The place they sale milk to doesn’t want them to put it out there. Andy has said it multiple times.
I think Andy specializes in farm equipment and crops. Other family members take care of the cows.

Andy, can Alex have a raise please
I really enjoyed the close up shots of the corn planter in action. All the best!
The state of Minnesota is flooded! The farm I grew up on has a low spot that has 5 acres under a foot or more water.
😀🚜👍
