I also have ADHD and TOURETTES. I get asked a lot by people why I make funny sounds and facial tics and body movements. Well all I can say is for the most part I don't even realize I'm doing it. It's called Tourette's Syndrome and it's a disorder in the nervous system and I can't control it. To be honest I never knew how bad it was until I made the 1st video of myself back in Feb 2020

Hey, im looking to buy a truck from tmc have you had any major problems with the truck?
No, I haven't had any major problems. Just a few minor like ac compressor and 1 with the automatic going into gear. The 13 speed manual has been fine but have had 2x in 2.5 years on the auto that it wouldn't go into any gear. Had to disconnect the battery and let it reset and then was fine. Like I said, that's happened twice in 2.5 years of having it. It's a 2016 truck. If you get a newer one it may have been fixed if that's a truck glitch
Never hurt to have a extra storage space on the truck. Nice idea instead of just wrapping bungee cords around it and risking a bounce, the buckets loose now and tips over and spills on the road. We use those for plaster and bird feed we want to keep dry and have easy access to with the screw on/ off lids. Travel blessed and safe travels to the next place.
I'll have to agree the straps aren't the best. I actually use a bungee cord on mine and works so much better. Be safe out there Chris. ✌️😎🇺🇸🙏

I haven't ever sat in a Bose seat but have tried a legacy and the factory and this is way better.

Not a chance. No where is Tourette's on a list of disqualifications so no need to mention it.
Instead of trying to angle the drill, I would have used my Harbor Freight ‘Dremel’ to adjust the hole to correct location at 7:40. And caption at 11:07 - a Bugee cord? Is that a bungee cord that’s too tight? 😉
I didn't have my Dremel on the truck and didn't want to take 90 minutes to go get it. Lol. This way took about 45 seconds. The washer covered up the little extra 🤣🤣🤣

@TheTourettesTrucker 10 4, I have some rock lights I am going to just splice into the cable that is in there right now. Will see how it looks, I figure they will reflect off the chrome and give it that glow look just like a strip light would.

I just swapped my high rise Jost for a normal Jost for $500. It was junkyard special but i picked a good one and reconditioned the surface with a flapdisk. Tanker has been garbage ever since Biden took office so I've been running skateboard. Once Trump gets back in, ill definitely switch back to my high rise and run tanker but wanting to get some Oversized experience under my belt.

I never realized how different our Coronados are, I have the batteries between the frame under the catwalk and the stepbox is storage, but I don't have the long fairings and boxes behind the fuel tanks. I thought about it when we ordered our glider but it was too much to work with for polishing, without the fairings and box behind the tanks it's very open and accessible to polish. I ended up buying a peterbilt frame mounted stepbox from my brother when he had the apu mounted on his 389. It looks good but man your second boxes are slick, hinges and struts... sweet.
Thanks. I've never really been a big fan of seeing the fuel tanks and such until I started seeing the Coronado glider from Fitzgerald with the full running boards and boxes. They made me look twice. 🤣🤣
Raneys has locking T handles that fit our coronado boxes, 60 bucks with keys, internal studs so no drilling. I just don't get freightliner pricing... bought 2 brand new complete door panels for 600 bucks, I wanted charcoal Grey instead of the hideous desert sand color. I call my dealer about the sleeper compartment latch for our clothes... 178 dollars. He says "it's 175 for the latch with the compartment door and hinges... wtf, 3 bucks cheaper AND I get a new door and hinges!!! Upper dash trim, the thin strip just above the big speedometer... 254 bucks for a 1/8" thick, 16" long piece of ABS plastic. I don't know who prices their shit and unfortunately Amazon replacement plastic pieces are hit or miss on quality, so some stuff just has to be OEM.
They are sick with some of the pricing. That little louvered bumper piece got a piece broken off when someone stuck their foot trying to open my hood. I didn't figure it was a big deal so said don't worry about it. I checked Freightliner and they wanted $850 for that PLASTIC piece. I found a stainless steel piece on Amazon for $99 but I'll have to grind off some back stops and it'll be fine when I get around to it.

I was gonna ask if all those fittings have to be cleaned in a special solution, probably can't just rinse em off....and you need to keep up with them too, and not leave em on a hose and drop em with the trailer 😁.
@@banzaii6285 yes, depending on what product it was they need to be cleaned in different ways. And you never wanna leave them. Have them wash right then and take back or they will disappear

I'm still waiting on my 9am preload pickup. It's now 12:55 geeze. When i deliver i am definately taken a few days off. I was going to be home from wednesday july 3rd through the 14th but now not sure. by the time i get home all the time cat took off will be over.

We are the same age and I know how you feel. Back in 1993 I hit the road and ran like crazy. I couldn’t help dividing my pay by the hours I worked. (Logged hours) actual hours was even more depressing. When I owned my own trucks I felt like a slave to them. I couldn’t pass on a load this week because it may not be there next week. I couldn’t pass because I knew the truck may need work causing down time. The rising costs and narrowing margin simply wasn’t worth my time. Our time is limited so for me waiting around away from home on someone else’s schedule is not my idea of living. You have the right idea. You should be the extra truck guy. Filling in on a few local hauls or running a week when a guy takes vacation. Keep working towards that goal. It will shake out one way or another.
Thanks brother. I know it's awful right now in this economy. Now i find out after 5pm the guy who was going to drive backed out because i refuse to 1099 him. He doesn't want to drive for me now if i take taxes out and then he changes home time to say he needs 1 week home after only 2 weeks out. WTH This is unheard of. This was never mentioned in the 3 weeks we have been working on getting him onboard. 🤦
@@TheTourettesTrucker Seems like everyone is that way now. I sent 3 offer letters that people signed for a manufacturing position and they never showed up on their start date. There has to be some dedicated tanker lanes down near Atlanta. Brunswick had a tanker company where the guys ran regional. It’s easier to find guys if the home time is better.
@@gearjmr my brother and I worked for that company in Rogers from 2006-2015 when I bought this Coronado. Lol if you want to be home and have no bills it's a great company. If you need to make money, not so much a place to go.
