  I have the Manta on my XR8 Sprint, sounds lot better in person than the video. The only issue with the Manta is the fitment over the rear axle, it's very tight unless they have changed it since 2017 when i got mine done.

  I’m thinking of doing something to my FG 5.4L. I really like the sound of the Manta exhaust. Does the exhaust have a drone noise in the cabin on long trips? Just a bit worried about that.

  It drones sometimes, 100KM/h up a slight incline, 1800RPM in lower gears up a hill - but nowhere near as badly as the XForce did - moderate throttle is just gnarly for all the right reasons

  Yes it's the loud version with stock cats, i was originally going for the KPM until i heard a couple of examples of the Manta - you won't be disappointed.

  Yours is normal for these cars. don't rev it when cold...once it gets to operating temp..then send it.

  I have the tick as well. Surprisingly I changed the oil to Motorcaft 5W30 and drove the hell out of it and the tick stopped. The only issue I have now is it sounds like the intake manifold runner control (IMRC) is not functioning properly as a I get a rattle that sounds like valve clatter when it’s cold at low RPMS.

  Welcome to the 2018 GT tick club! I also have the same issue. No solution has been provided by ford. Anyways let us know if you take it to dealership. Did you already take it for diagnosis? Thanks

  @@Silenced_by_nazi_youtube Apparently there is a few that have had engines replaced because they supposedly found anything from cylinder scoring to bad journal bearings in the bottom end. Mine is kind of like yours and not that bad yet. I took it in, and they ran some diagnostics, but said it happens a lot. If it gets a lot worse, i'm taking it back to get it fixed. Most likely a new engine.

  @@Condor1970 The irony is there doesn't seem to be any specific fix, they're just picking parts out of the air, phasers, heads, blocks - and the "funny" part is a lot of the new or repaired engines are doing the same thing haha. I shouldn't laugh but it is a little amusing as obviously no one has any idea what is going on with the gen 3. I walked into this purchase well-researched on the topic, so i'm not that annoyed at this point.
