These videos are great but not showing what they are doing and what they are using and they make it look so easy when I have fished for days and only got one bit off big fish and if this is at flaming gorge the locals get very mad if they show exactly how they catch the big fish

Awesome. Get yourself an unhooking mat made for European carp angling. Makes handling big fish much easier and very safe of course. They cost pennies to boot. Weigh slings are useful too.

In the seventys thru the ninetys we trolled wire line and heavy gear. A old art of fishing till we noticed these Jiggers be were working about a fraction of what we were and were liking our butt with big fish. We caught a lot of thirty's and occasional 40s but they exceeded that.

3" of ice will absolutely hold your weight.. You're watching out for less than that, which is where the bar comes in. I watched you slam that Chisel and you are not going through 3.75" in a single swing. Dial it back bro.

"Extra heavy rods"? Lmao. There's nothing about any of the rods on that boat that are "extra heavy". I own a few rods that could be considered extra heavy. They're about 12 feet long and capable of heaving 8 ounces+ of weight and bait. A good size bluefish would probably snap those "extra heavy" guppy rods. LoL

Here in Kansas it’s nearly impossible to slip fish a Walleye, our waters are stuffed full of white perch. Drives me nuts.

Do you use suffix advanced 832 lead core, thay say it goes 8 feet deep per section, that mean I could go for salmon and get down 80 or more feet with 10 sections, do you have any thoughts on this

On the contrary, I catch more walleye in the summer than any time of the year. By far. Key thing is to cover more ground. This usually means worm harnesses with bottom bouncers in the day and slow trolling with spoons in the shallows at dusk. Meanwhile I keep passing by guys stuck jigging the same stretch with no luck.

You need to slow down and breathe a bit bud. You jammer your words and it makes you sound like a terrible used car salesman. Bet you can’t say barometric pressure change 5 times faster than you already do and butcher it worse. Slow your roll and it’ll make your show more enjoyable. The guy who won didn’t even know what he won.

Is it just me or it seems like everything you are using was a secret and you didn't want anyone to know other than you mentioned how you butchered up a rod to give you some backbone to haul in these lake trout. Dude- share about the reel, rod, line, lures and action of it to get the trout to bite...

Hey there...I've watched this vid waaaaaayyyyy too many times! LOL....make me cut the top off of two very nice rods! :) my question is about your boat of choice. I'm NEW to lake fishing (fly fish on the rivers). I bought a small 16.5' Crestliner SportFish last year and now have become addicted to chasing the Lakers. The wife and I like our little boat but I think we'd enjoy more room. I've started looking at upgrading...looked at larger versions of what we already have. Seriously looked into cabin type boats like a Duckworth. These lakers tend to be in larger lakes around me (Wyoming) which can get nasty quickly. So, what made you decide on a bass boat? For large lakes...what would be your boat of choice? Thanks in advance!

Look into Weldcraft. I recommend getting some nice downriggers and a planer board setup if you want to catch them more consistently. The jig bite doesn't always hit, but it's the most fulfilling.

My Dad raised me as a bass fisherman. I grew up fishing bass tournaments with my dad until he couldn't afford to fish professionally anymore. Same time my Grandpa and Uncle taught me how to catch salmon and trout and Northern pike and walleye.. MY uncle is a fishing guide on Lake Chelan WA. He guides people to huge Lake Trout and Kokanee all day. Lucky s.o.b. I am jealous. Look up my uncle Jeff Witkowski on FACEBOOK. Pictures of HUGE Lake Trout his customers catch. And stringers of Kokanee!!!! Darrell & Dads Family Guide Service:509-687-0709 www.darrell-dads.com/

You are confused on the location of your quick change clevis. You state you are attaching your cannon ball weight above your barrel swivel , "where you would attach a spinner blade". I think you misspoke, as this location, 4 feet ahead of your hook ,is where one would attach a bottom bouncer. The portion on fishing slip bobbers was good.
