We've been building trusts at home with some wild birds, endemic Tuï, Korimako (Bellbird) & Kererū (Woodpigeon).
They in turn bring their mates in to drink filtered tap water OR a sweet brew for the nectar feeders.

It's so cool how their populations are growing. My mum is a Kiwi and when she was a little girl they never saw these birds at all.
Yep it is very cool. This growth pattern is limited to varying parts of the Islands & probably due to a more stringent predator control thru trapping & fencing. We are not fans of the aerial poison 1080 & still question its use over other trapping methods. Thank you for watching & taking the time to comment. 🙏😎
