    Much noisier compared to the TRX, tho...

    I have noisy gear. This bow is much quieter. My podium stab is one I made myself is a custom 36” and has no dampener or epoxy. It’s quite loud. With my conquest 33” bar this bow was quiet enough to hunt with

    @@MichaelAllmanArcher I've been at the shooting line in tournaments surrounded by 3 TRX (40, 36 and Gen 2 38) and they were quieter. I'm not saying that is needed for target but moving away from a parallel limb design had a cost, and didn't saw it changing results at the Vegas 24. Well, at least some the new anodized finishes (as in the red and blue models) are better than the powder coated or lacqued than previous ones.

    Do you take into account that the original point of impact will change whenever you move the sight bar in or out?

  • @MichaelAllmanArcher
    @MichaelAllmanArcher2 ай бұрын

    Yep! I’m not after it hitting perfect left to right while I’m tuning. I’m just trying to get the 2 arrows to be close to eachother. If the arrows are an 1” apart but 4” right, I’ll move my sight right.

  • @jasonnester9514

    Best to torque tune with rest because once u have your sight set either in or out to line up well inside your peep don’t touch it

  • @MichaelAllmanArcher

    @@MichaelAllmanArcher not a bad idea I didn’t think of that until find torque tuning better using sight vs rest or what’s your opinion me I figure once rest is set don’t move it

    I just got a Mathews Lift 33 and am impressed with it. I have not shot in about 14 years, and had forgotten how much I really enjoyed it. I might consider target in the future, but shooting 3D now, with my kids who just started with Elite Ember Bows. I was wondering how much different the title is from the Lift? I probably should get out there and find one to try.

  • @MichaelAllmanArcher
    @MichaelAllmanArcher2 ай бұрын

    Find one to try for sure!! The lift is definitely harder pulling, but honestly the lift 33 draw cycle to the title 38 for me is not all that different. The lift is a great bow, very stable, but the more forward facing limbs of the title absolutely aim and point better and the bow is quite hard to torque.

    @@MichaelAllmanArcher this process sets the optimal scope, peep, rest distances to minimize the effect a small amount of torque induces at a given distance. You would set it for the average if shooting at multiple distances? Did I get that right? Thanks for the video.

  • @MichaelAllmanArcher
    @MichaelAllmanArcher2 ай бұрын

    Yes I set it for the average! Outdoors at field or safari, most of my shots will be 20-50, so I like to air on the longer side since those tend to be harder. I do 40-45 yards to torque tune outdoors, and indoors it’s all at 20y

    65lb 75% letoff. I find that 75 has the feel I like, slightly aggressive, not so easy and smooth. 60lb 70% gets me all the holding weight I like, but it’s a little too soft feeling for me. 65lb 75% gets me the holding weight plus extra speed and has the aggressive feel that I shoot good with.

Keep praising God and witnessing to Tim and all the folks at SVA. 😊 Being active with a good following on social media helps with a manufacturer’s selection of which archers to sponsor.
