@@creativeloafer9792 she went over the rails crazy in her new career. She backs Trump 100% and ran for office. Lost. Still an election denier.

I remember as recently as 2007, the mall was thriving, with Dillards and Macy’s as strong anchors.

What the hell?! 85% capacity in Metrocenter? That's BS! Maybe in 2001. Since this video the capacity has dropped to about 25%!

Metocenter was not a pit in the 80's. It started a slow decline in the 90's after the remodel. Since then it's gone from bad to worse. Now it's all but dead, Walmart is opening later this year but I'm friends with one of the security guards there and he thinks Walmart is a horrible idea. It's gonna attract a lot of the element that they try to keep out.

Oh please, 4 years later and it's still the same pit it was in the 80's. They need to bulldoze it and make another superWalMart. That's he only thing that'll make money there.

SEARS is now gone as of September of 2018. Dillards is an outlet' store (remember Factory 2 U?) JC Penny's (somehow) is doing better at Cgris Town. Macy's (formerly a 'The Broadway' store is now a Walmat and the book and record stores are gone with the exception of Barbes & Noble (located north of the main mall building) . To the ownswers of the Mall and all you smaller stores...let it end already. Ir opended in 1974, flourished thrugh the greedy, high priced, money grubbing 1980s and held on well into the mid to late 1990s BUT! It's over and has been for a long time. I walk through there and it's nothing short of depressing. Turn the whole building (excepting Wal Mart) into something worthwhile or just tear it all down. It's like letting a dying horse lay there and suffer!
