Which probes and oscilloscope is to be used ?
Thanks for the demo! I just got this with the R7 and for the life of me, I cannot figure out the settings to upload to youtube. The video uploads, but it's still in fish eye format with two small circular videos. Can you share your camera settings and EOS VR utility export settings? I'm using EOS VR utility 1.4 and R7 firmare 1.5

I cant believe the fcc id look up webistes! I've been very interested in how most the technology works within my house. This usually ends with me tearing it apart, pulling up a tear down guide but I can now just easily look up the id and get internal and external photos of the device. FOR FREE! without the worry of breaking or bricking the device.

Oops lagged on response - but no update, I think the answer would be a silicon seal on the outside is going to work better.
I found it to be quite nauseating. Even in this short video I ended up having to pause and get some fresh air. I also spent a lot more time manually driving the camera position than focusing on the content. The sharpness and detail is pretty poor, too, compared to a static camera with a single focal plane. Seems ok for filming outdoors if you're really into watching VR content, but for this it's a bit of a dud.
Hmm, good feedback! I've been experimenting with on googles and is "somewhat" more useful but the quality is a huge issue the more I play with it. Getting up-close which I want also makes the problems worse... the effort is a *lot* higher as well IMO, with the effort involved you could make higher quality regular videos.
@@ColinOFlynn I think the crux of it is really that having a viewer be able to adjust their rotational field of view isn't all that useful in the context of presenting a detail oriented task focused on a single stationary object, so every trade-off becomes a pure deficiency.

What is the chances the battery is easy to replace and is it cost effective to do so or cheaper to just buy a new terminal? I have one that is 2 years out of warranty, only turns on and works when plugged in. When unplugged even after sitting for charging, updated software, it will shut off when unplugged and won't turn on if not plugged into an electric outlet. Any idea if its fixable and easy to do so?

This is awesome, been looking for this for a long time. LS swapping my boat, and was hoping to run Holley software on both of my Raymarine Axioms for tuning. Hopefully this will still work with the new lighthouse software. If you ever wanted to make a detailed step by step video, that would be amazing.

when u initiate the fault do the injectors and coils fire too to have a full throttle situation or is it just the throttle open?
The injectors & coils are going still (it's hard to see but had some LEDs to test this). However what I didn't have confirmed is the "other stuff" is working (in particular fuel pump relay is still enabling fuel). So I can't really confirm if the vehicle would take off - but I actually have a complete car from some years ago sitting around, I'm hoping to get the test working on-vehicle this summer as may finally have enough time to do so!
@@ColinOFlynn thats awesome. man i wish i had someone like u to work with. im an L 1 2 3 ASE master certified tech and ive been messing with ecus and vehicle glitches for awhile and im developing a commonrail fuel conversion for a 6.0 powerstroke so it can be off the shelf bolt on and programmed but im doing it in my garage on spare time by myself and im no genius but i love learning and i love ur channel. hopefully i can buy ur chip shouter and chip whisperer soon so i can test my designs. thank u for the response and thank u for the videos.

its in limp mode. lmao
Limp mode looks different, the TB will move between a small & slightly larger opening. The ECU still has good control in limp mode except it's more limited to how far it opens (as makes sense, normally this is because some sensors are invalid). I had triggered limp mode many times but it's not as interesting I think, compared to modes where the TB is momentarily glitching open fully. Limp home mode have such glitchy control of the TB?

The middle plastic part comes out, there is a couple of screws sideways in the mount that holds it in place.
Mine gives reader damaged error. Someone dropped it!!! 😢 I opened it but I can’t see anything wrong. Did you have any issue when you closed it back and turn on? Did it give you any error?
5:01 - Honestly thought that was a spring pin that was sitting underneath the head of the screw. Easy to bypass such a contraption but honestly would have been so cool to see an anti tamper spring pin under a screw. Who would expect it!
