The day I first heard this song playing at some shop during the mid 1980s, I had just received some bad news that my uncle had died. Maybe coz I was in a mourning spirit, to me the bass guitar in this song and the tune of the voices made me feel this was a mourning song, a dirge. Later when the lyrics were translated into English, I realized that I was right. Franco was mourning his brother who had died. . . . All the same I really love this song: the instruments, the tune of the voices and all is just nice. I listen to it very regularly.
