KASL Customs

Hello! Welcome to my KZread Channel. I enjoy working on all kinds of things and discussing various topics that interest me. On this channel you will find opinion videos, how to videos, product reviews, and more. I have always had a deep appreciation and love for the 79-93 Foxbody Mustangs. I have owned one since 1997 and still own the car to this day (Green 1992 LX Notchback 5.0). I love and appreciate all mustangs however I have only owned those that fall within the Fox Chassis years. I also love and work on many other vehicle models as well so you will also find videos on those vehicles here too. I love the fact that I can share my passion and advice with the world through this platform. I am by no means an expert in any of the topics I discuss on here or any other platform I exist on but I do enjoy trying to help others and offer my perspective on things. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read this.

My motor was making a weird noise, but it had good, normal oil pressure. I hadnt drove it in months and I figured it was good since it had oil pressure. Did 1 pull and pistons exploded, cylinder walls were lost.... Idk why I thought it would be fine just cuz it had oil pressure lol (it sounded horrible)

Such a great video. I personally think that a nice tight suspension is more important than making more power. How a car handles to me is the most important aspect. I can’t wait to start upgrading the suspension in my 89 GT. Thanks for the inspiration my man!!!

As much as I’d like to boost my 89GT, I really like the reliability and simplicity of a good H/C/I combo. Yea I won’t get crazy power but all I’m looking for a is a fun reliable street car that looks and sounds great. Great video mi amigo. Take care!

The manufacturer says this isn't made to be used on pick ups over 8500 GVW. Now what?

I had an 86 5.0 and I absolutely loved it. It wasn't the fastest on the street or the prettiest, but it was mine and I hope to find an 86 with a five speed again.

Seems like it needs a tune.. especially if you changed injectors or ECU is pooched. Get rid of the adaptor and rewire it ...thats what my engine builder Paul Silva did

Well that certainly explains why there was so much metal in the oil, cylinder washout causing trashed rings and cylinder walls i bet. Damn shame, pro m usually have good products but horrible customer service.

ARP sells an oil pump prime tool. It fits in the end of a drill and the other end on the oil pump driveshaft that the distributor sits on. Spin the drill counter clockwise.

That they do. I usually just make my own 😉👍. Only reason I wanted to fire it up was to see how the only pressure was at the various rpm’s of high idle, idle, etc. good info for the community though. Thanks for sharing 🙏

Am I seeing correctly that there are no breathers in the valve covers? You need at least one for the PCV system to function and relieve crankcase pressure. Right now it’s like trying to suck through a straw with the other end plugged. You can’t. Quite likely why the rear main started leaking profusely.

  • @KASLCustoms

There is one on the backside of the passenger Valve cover but I’m thinking about adding another on the drivers side too 👍
