This was nice.
Availability? Timeline? I have original SureTrace. I checked link a few weeks ago about where to buy and it said no one carried it so I assume it wasn’t out yet.
I really like these, but I have never had luck pushing stranded wire into these.
When does it come out? Checked a link the other day and it listed no retailers selling it…….yet I’m assuming. Have original SureTrace already.
Am just wondering 🤔 no toolbelt???? Instead of putting crap in ur mouth 😮 !!! Commentator said! If u put in ur mouth u know ur not gonna loose it😅😅😅
Nice how much it cost?
If it's yellow 77... looks weird. But we call it "soap" if it is.
says instructional video where are the instructions you idiots, like how much to cut? how to use with stranded etc.
Do they supply these if you work there?
Non union life is shit...IBEW FTW
nova tecnologia já está no mercado ajudar muito os profissionais da elétrica
hello, does the clampl function work on both on energized and de-energized circuit? .... and will the clamp signal function work up to 240V AC circuit ? ... thankyou
Great Video on how to use this tool, mainly used to the older method and just picked one of these up so many thanks for the demo
When the network is either strapped for cash or bored.
uk sparks would dominate
I can't get a stripped 12-ga wire into the connector. I've held the wire with lineman pliers and the connector with locking pliers and used considerable force, but no go. I tried exercising the springs by repeatedly inserting a removing a small nail (which got stuck pretty good each time I inserted it), but that didn't help. I don't know how others are using these successfully.
Agreed. Seemed like a good idea. Couldn’t get to work. Watched video and confirmed that it wasn’t just me. Tried several wire types and sizes and no luck. Went back to crimping. Threw these things in trash and will return unopened bags.
I can’t find any instructions on how to remove cables that have been pushed into these permanent connector blocks 🫤
Love these things
How will you push stranded connection. I have hard time.. any tips ?
They are actually trash for stranded. Get levered connectors. The smaller the better.
Your wires are too short at the box.
You don't need gloves to connect wires.
I don't see how stranded wire is suppose to push in?
Give a little twist. It works
Too bad they got rid of the protective door on the bottom of the meter.
Greg is wizard with the pipe bender!!! I i got to work under a teacher like him.
Yet you don’t know how to spell or say “LINEMAN'S.”
Ya can't beat the old connection block😊
Hello please i need ur help
Hello sir tape roll rate me sir
the announcers are comedy
You know what your product vidros lack, compared to Wago? Innards, the contact part.
Can this tool detect live wiring through 1/2” thick drywall? Say if the contractor who did the wiring in my house when it was being built capped a live wire and left it behind the drywall. Can this tool tell me it’s there?
I have been using push in or stick and squeeze connectors for over 30 years and I have never, every had a fault or failure. I do admit there are times where wire nuts fit the box better though. At the end of the day, I'm not 110% that these are all that much better than wire nuts, but they definitely have an application.
How about showing us how to release the wires when changing them?
Just twist the nut and pull at once, in europe we use the WAGO push-in connectors , they work exactly like these
Mine come out of the hole
I have a yellow ideal connector and I am wiring an outlet The wires won’t stay in hole
What gauge wire?
I am not sure What is a good way to measure? Visually it looks the same as the wires upstairs and I used the Ideal connectors
Which section of the cable is convenient?
These are terrible, just push in is a joke, I've even soldered the ends and still fall out
useless for stranded conductors. Just tried and they just easily pulled apart. Wagos work easily as both solid and stranded. I won't be buying these again. Also Wagos a easy to release.
What amperage are these rated up to?
What do I do if my wires too soft?
Do you guys make anything similar for 3 phase 480v power?
Great video! Tks!
Electrician's run conduit or more correctly race ways. Plumb dummer's run pipe.
Do you have a video demo of using these in real life lighting situations? Yes, there are four slots for the t&e but the problem is fitting all four push in connectors in there. I really struggle to get the box to shut with loop in, loop out, light supply AND switch all in that little box despite it all being the same brand (yours) and assumedly designed to work together. Thanks.
Im from Minneapolis and just found out about this competition lol. Nice
Where does the ground go?
these don't work for shit and should be illegal, how do you get away with selling such a dangerous product?
They work great. I'm a pro contractor and we use them often. You may be using a different brand than Ideal and I have also had problems with the brands that use little lift gates to lock the wire down but Ideal stab to connect are awesome
Because they meet code requirements and they work. Ideal brand
How much of the wire needs stripping?
1/2 inch
I strip around 5/8" but 1/2" will work
What are these called ?
We need a link to these
