The Russian aircraft you detailed that carried the Buran space shuttle isnt the real transporter for the shuttle. The Antanov An-225 Mriya was specifically designed and built for this purpose. Unfortunately the russians destroyed the only one in operation during the initial invasion of Ukraine. Very unfortunate because it was the biggest aircraft in service for the world up until that moment.

The humps that were on its back in between the wings are the mounting points for the shuttle. It's basically the Russian version of the Boeing 747 that carried the American shuttle. Same same. How can we ever learn from our past when certain countries work flat out to conceal information from us that our ancestors intended us to have and know.
